  • Crashtastic

If you move away from the app and come back, it never connects back to your system. You have to hard close the app and restart it to connect. Bummer
  • Love the lights but I wish the app was better

I love my Jellyfish lights and all the colors/patterns that you can choose from or create. However for some reason over the last month or two, my lights no longer turn on and off when set up on a schedule anymore. I have to go in each evening to turn them on and each morning and turn them off manually. This is becoming frustrating when you pay so much and they just don’t work as they should.

  • Love the lights!

They’re beautiful and fun to play with. They were installed so quickly and were given easy to understand directions.
  • Can’t reconfigure wireless

So it only attaches to 2.4Ghz which is fine because I’ve created a vlan for all iot, but when rebooting router after recording, controller no longer attaches. Same said and password as during initial setup. Lacking in online support. Nightmare. Now I have basically 6000 dollar lighting system with no control.

  • Simply Amazing!

Love our new jellyfish lights and love the app. I saw some of the reviews saying it was difficult to use and you know what? Not true at all. You are able to program each individual light if you have the patience and also they give you some standard light set ups, which help you edit them into new lights settings yourself. I’m still playing with all the different possible scenes I can make for my lights.

  • Lights

I love my lights, but when you change it to a new app, I have not been able to get it to work. It keeps telling me that I am not hooked up to the Jellyfish Wi-Fi. I have no idea where to go. I have wasted $3700 with no help from anyone. I am so disappointed I don’t know what to say to anyone, I’m trying to be nice, but unfortunately I’m very very very upset. Your app is not really user-friendly. I’m sorry but it’s not the prior app was so much easier. I really love the lights, but I hate having to set them up every single day because they go back to red White and blue and I cannot set anything on your page. Jean Patterson.

  • Old app better. This is broken

I want to love this app so much you have no idea. When this new app was launched I thought all my woes would have been resolved.
This app appears to have more of the same inconsistencies as the previous app. Only with this app I’m unable to pivot to the designer app as a redundant back up option.

It often fails to recognize my controller on the regular.

This causes me to shut the app down and try again a few min later. Often times I get it to kick on, on the 5th or 6th try.

Scheduling does not hold/save as it should, despite saving it into the calendar under the schedule option.

I would really like to see more beta testing before launching upgrades like this. For the money I spent on this system I frankly expect more.

Sadly, you’ve lost sales as a result of these issues. When people come over I try to show the lights off to friends and build your customer base. I find myself making excuses for your design engineers/software engineers and everyone in between. I will no longer make excuses.

Fix this and I’ll change my review.

  • App does work

Things pop up in the AP and when I go to read them, it goes away. Times stop working. Sections of the light have stopped working and I’m not sure if it’s the app or bad lights. Like others have said, app doesn’t work and I should have gone with another company
  • Version 2.0 Ruined It

The new version looks great, but it rarely connects to my controller anymore, and when it does, it only lasts a minute or two! What's terrible is that every category you click into seemingly has to load from the controller, so I can't even browse my patterns to find what I want when I do get a brief window of connectivity!

  • Works Perfectly

Very fluid, easy to understand, like any technology you have to play with it. The more you do the better it gets. FULLY CONTROLLABLE
