  • Works with ttrss

    But is a bit too simple. Lacks support for a lot of ttrss functionality like labels and filtered views. Also needs a pull up to mark as read. Default to source article per feed would also be great, but double tap is ok for now.

    Would give 5 stars for just this as the app is prettty decent as is. Really appreciate it offers a lifetime purchase option unlike all other apps like fiery feeds. I’m not looking to have a payroll for developers. Pay once and then for upgrades as needed is better. If you’ve got good stuff in an upgrade I’ll pay. If not why would I?

  • Clean, simple RSS reader

    It does what it is supposed to do and it does it well!
  • Very confusing to use

    I found this in an App Store feature article, and I was wondering if it was a good alternative to NetNewsWire.

    But it's actually very confusing to set up;
    the settings don't make sense because I don't know which ones are where;
    the big text and images take up space and feel like they distract from finding and reading the articles;
    and switching to viewing only unread articles hides my RSS sources, which doesn't make sense.
    It's also annoying that a basic feature like importing from an OPML file is locked behind a paywall.

    Best to stick with NetNewsWire.

  • The Best Reader App

    I love ReadKit. The developer is great and this latest cross-platform version looks better, functions better, and is in every way better than all competing apps, even those from big development teams. Unlike those other apps you will find no ads here and no one is stealing and selling your data. Plus ReadKit works with more apps and platforms than those other companies and more seamlessly. It's hard to make an app this robust feel this simple. The free version is generous and the subscription prices are fair and with all the extra features you get paying a little for something you will use this much is well worth the upgrade. I don’t write a lot of reviews but when you find an app you love this much, you want to share it with others.

  • Beautiful and powerful

    I’ve used this app for nine years and when this newest version came out I tried it out, loved it, and immediately paid for the one-time lifetime Premium unlock.
  • Constantly Crashes

    I am integrating three services, inoreader, pinboard, and instapaper, but the app constantly crashes. Seems to happen after I added my pinboard account
  • Amazing app

    Easy to use, fast, feature filled. Love it. The only thing what keeps it from being a 5 stars is the lack of iCloud sync for “local feeds” or a new kind of feed that syncs thru iCloud.
  • Fast app, responsive developer

    Trying out ReadKit again with its 3.0 release. Love that one subscription covers both iOS and Mac. The iPhone app looks great and loads fast. And kudos to the developer, who responded quickly and helpfully when my third-party feed service had some technical glitches.
