  • Wi-Fi connected issues

    The only annoying thing is that it takes forever to download the videos and even trying to watch the videos take even longer. After it keeps lagging then it tells me the Wi-Fi got disconnected. Honestly I wish we didn’t need to be connected to the dashcam to see the videos that got stored. I’m thinking of returning the dashcam. What’s the use of owning one and I can’t even see the videos 😡 terrible app
  • Please reorder the menu icons!!!

    Please move the WiFi icon to the first page of the menu! I have to turn on the cameras WiFi each time I start up the cam and the icon is on the third page of the menu. It just seems more practical to have such an essential function at the front.

    Thanks to the devs for answering me and providing me with a tip that has saved me time. I would still like to see the icon menu reorganized but I’ve switched my rating to 5 stars. There really isn’t anything bad you can say about this products performance and the customer care is excellent!

For example, if your product is F7N series, you can long press the "up" key on the right side of the camera to quickly turn on WiFi. Other than that this is an amazing piece of technology, easily installed on my own and one of the few cams with a rear view camera. I’d gladly give it 5 stars if it wasn’t for this WiFi icon issue.

  • Accident

    I had installed the camera 3 weeks ago, and on August 8 a truck ran a red light and totaled my car and put me in the hospital. The other guy said he had the green. I proved he lied. I was able to show it to the police. He got a ticket and is liable. RedTiger tech support was awesome in helping me after the accident retrieving the video. I’m not the most tech savvy person. I am buying one for all my family members. THANK YOU REDTIGER!!!

  • Love this camera

    If you’re looking for a great quality dash cam this one is it. Able to connect to your phone by WiFi and download videos and pictures when taken. I highly recommended it. I ended up buying 2 more for my other vehicles
  • Best dashcam I have ever owned

    I’ve had mine for over a year. The first reason why I wanted to try it is it has the one thing I require. A NON-STICKY suction cup! I have had other cams that you have to permanently stick to the windshield. And others that have a sticky suction cup. Makes a huge mess. This suction cup works pretty well. It has come off I think about 3 times in a year and it was mostly in the heat of the summer in South Louisiana. The video quality (front and rear) is great. I love the accurate GPS feature too! It keeps the time and date well. I set it once and haven’t had to reset it. I can’t remember if I had to for daylight savings time. About the only thing I think needs improvement is the way you connect the camera to the app. You have to manually go into “settings” on the camera and toggle to “WIFI” and manually connect to your phone. Kinda a pain. It would be better if it would connect automatically when the camera is on and the app is started.

    But I do highly recommend this camera.

  • Horrible

    I have only had this dash camera a week nothing but frustration with no help customer support is never available by phone I wasted money to have installed by hardwired with the kit it said to get camera is not working while parked I wanted the 24/7 protection as stated and the WiFi connection keeps going out I need protection and recording while parked not just while driving I had the installation rechecked and it is installed correctly now I have to have uninstalled and will be sending back thanks for nothing but a waste of my money Update…::::::::::: I received a call from the customer service team and they walked me step by step and assured that the camera is working properly and I am now satisfied

  • Stepping down a star… „^(

    I’ve used RedTiger as a replacement app for the previous camera I purchased where it’s original app failed the function after several years of use. RedTiger proved to be extremely valuable and being able to access files and setting on the go. Unfortunately, my old camera started failing to record the files that it was capturing, so I figured it was time to update my camera. Upon replacing the camera, the RedTiger app, which I intended on using was unable to access the four folders this new camera creates. Each folder ties to a separate camera and RedTiger is only capable of accessing the main file. This is why I’ve stepped down one star. I’ll keep RedTiger on my phone as a back-up in case this new Dash Cam app fails as well. The odd thing is the new camera on my car recommends using an app that looks identical to red tiger except for one function, literally one button that allows me to access the individual folders. go figure.

  • Wish there was a change

    The recording quality is awesome and I love that when you download a video it records the map of route and speed of the car.. however, I HATE that I have to be parked to view any recordings. Or even everytime I want to see the recording I have to turn the wifi on every time. It’s not convenient in an emergency because it does time to. I know it’s probably a safety thing, but in an emergency it shouldn’t work the same.

    Thank you for your feedback. When the dashcam is turned on, and within the effective distance of WiFi (within 3 meters), you can view and download videos. Regarding WiFi settings: Since many cell phones are single-channel phones, the SIM card cannot be used after connecting to WiFi. We are worried that the automatic opening and connection of WiFi will cause some customers' cell phones to be unable to use 3/4G and miss important information. In addition, if your camera is a product of the F7N series. You can quickly turn on/off WiFi by long pressing the "UP" button on the right side of the camera. We hope this will provide you with some convenience.
