  • Same issue with IOS on any Chinese dashcam

    I used DDPAI dashcam before and have had same exact problem with the app using iOS devices. I thought that just DDPAI’s issue, but i was wrong. Most Chinese dashcams have the same issue, cannot live view or playback using IOS devices, works fine with android.
    Redtiger even worst. The device control interface is just the dumpest thing I’ve ever used. You can’t connect to dashcam wifi unless you physically turn on everytime you need. While connecting to the device wifi, you can’t get out to the previous menu, display message “turn off your wifi first” but how to turn it off while all the buttons are disable? The only way yo do so is to power of the camera. Stay away from these dashcams and their immature apps

    Thank you for your feedback. I'm sure you are a very knowledgeable customer about this matter! Regarding our decision to set the dash cam to require manual activation of WiFi instead of automatically turning on with the machine, it's because the WiFi is a hub-style WiFi used for transmitting data from the dash cam to the phone. So after connecting to WiFi, some single-channel phones may not be able to receive messages or access the internet. To avoid these customers missing important messages, we have decided to give customers control over this aspect. As for the issue of not being able to operate the dash cam after turning on WiFi, you can use the app to operate the dash cam, such as modifying settings, taking photos, playing back videos, and so on. There is a small trick to turn on and off the WiFi: long press the up button for three seconds to turn on or off the WiFi. Wishing you all the best in life.
  • Mostly Useless. Downloads fail.

    Ok to view snapshots or delete files on camera, but video playback from camera is about 10% actual speed, and all attempts to download videos fails. Every time!! Only way to watch video is to remove SIM card and use laptop.

    Had no connection issues, had live feed and was able to download video
  • Problem resolved

    Customer support is great and worked with me. Definitely felt an urgency to correct the matter. I sent in a video I took from another phone of the issue happening and that was a great idea highly recommend trying to video your issues for them. Nora from customer support is great. Love everything about this dash cam setup.
  • The splash ads is so annoying

    I don’t see any reason the splash ads should exist.
  • Keeps crashing when you go to watch downloaded clips

    The app has been pairing well with the camera but when I go to watch a downloaded video the app crashes. It’s not a very good app if you can’t watch the videos you’ve selected.

I reported this phenomenon to the technical department, and they said that it may be that the file size is too large and it takes a certain amount of time to load when playing back on the APP. You can download the video you want to watch or set the video length to one minute. In order to improve the customer experience, we will continue to update and maintain the APP. Thanks again

    your software issue is soo much that i had to delete the app cuz every time i delete download new one works few days then freezes again cant connect
  • Cant see live

    When you connect inside the car you cant see live it just stays on black screen. You can only view previous recording but not live view. Once you fix that problem i change my review to 5 stars.

I reported this symptom to the technical department, and they said that it may be your phone's VPN and other apps conflict with this app. You can try to turn off the carrier data, VPN, and mobile phone antivirus software. If this still does not solve your problem, you can submit feedback on the APP so that technicians can better solve the problem for you. Thanks again
