    So far this has been really good. However, can’t figure out how to disable WiFi mode without powering the camera off. Also, Is there a daylight saving time setting? For half the year my videos have a time stamp that’s behind an hour.
    Update: I found the DST setting. So far I’ve downloaded some clips off the camera and edited them and so far everything has worked great.

Regarding this question: If your device is an F7N series product, you can quickly turn on/off wifi by long pressing the up button on the right side of the camera. In addition, there is usually a DST setting in the camera settings. Please check and set it in the menu settings.   • Device is great, app is miserable to use.

    The device works great, however, when I need to use the app, it’s nearly impossible to connect my phone to be able to view recorded footage.
    Makes it tough to be able to make sure what I needed to be recorded is actually recorded and if I can’t view these things, it kind of defeats the purpose of having a dash cam altogether.
    It always tells me to connect via Wi-Fi on my phone. However, when I go into Wi-Fi, the device rarely shows up.

  • Works as expected!

    Easy to navigate, intuitive buttons. Wifi connects well and was able to download videos. Sleep feature is nice. Only downside is speed isn’t tracking. Other than that no notable bugs. The newer software updates are nice! Keep improving the app.

  • Camera doesn’t connect to app

    Camera video quality is good. The app is not.
    I allowed WiFi to the camera and it took me a long time, but was finally able to connect the camera to the app on my phone. However, since that time, the camera is not detectable by the app and doesn’t ever connect. I have to watch videos on the camera itself because the app does not ever connect.

  • App works like any other. Reviews are inexperienced

    This is my 3rd Dash camera and it works awesome. These apps do the job and so far this is the best one with clarity of playback/gps tracking at least. Some people on here are complaining that they can’t record while grabbing video blah blah. It takes a lot to load a video through wifi and in a pinch you want fastest access so thats what’s in place to focus all processing power the camera has to send/download videos. That’s how it is for all of them. Hot tip- Set looping time to 1min. That’s result in fastest DL time

    Had issue with app saying incorrect password to connect to camera after replacing start up password. Sent email to REDTIGER and received response my email not accepted and is blocked.
    Also had problem with camera flip setting not working when selected. Finally received response to select mirror flip to fix problem (guess they can’t read as I already told them that).

If it shows wrong password after changing the password, you need to reboot the camera and then reconnect the wifi.If you forgot the wifi password, you can restore the factory settings in the camera settings and the password will be restored to 12345678.For any help, please contact: anni@redtigercam.com.Thank you for your understanding.
  • Wish I read the reviews on the app as well…

    I can’t even connect to the actual camera so that defeats the whole purpose. I see you “update” the app. You’ve have had complaints for months on end and yet nothing. Why on earth do you charge so much money and can’t make a working app? I bet you don’t even actually update it.

  • Privacy policy

    Camera is nice and quality I will say. What got me bothered was, after downloading the app I opened it as anyone would. I start to read the policy and notice it’s mainly about your personal information and then I notice number 6 says “ collection and use of personal information of young people.” Little odd. Also states about giving your stuff to third parties.

It is only when the user submits the problem feedback, it will be accompanied by the operation log of the app, which is convenient for us to analyze the app and device problems.   • App Needs Much Improvement

    Having to constantly connect via WiFi when car is turned off is annoying. I understand there is a hardwire kit but I believe the kit won’t solve the problem. It’s every time the unit is off or powered off. Having to hold the up arrow on the camera to activate WiFi gets annoying. I’m gone to return the F7NP model due to bad app programming.
