  • Positive experience

App is not as bad as written in reviews. For me, it works fine with a7IV and a7rV.

Had some issues in the past, but now works ok, although it is not the simpliest app I’ve seen.

Used mainly to transfer photo to my phone. Works great and very simple with the transfer arrow on the cameras.
  • Easy to use with A6700

I vlog with my band Xile from New Zealand and take this camera on tour. This app works great for sending content to my iPhone 15 pro.
I made a profile too! Maybe I will use the cloud service in the future.
  • Sony is associated with this??

I really do not understand… at first I was happy with it… but now it logged me out, asking me to sign in again to update my camera. Fine. I tried once, never received the email… I tried again, received the email 15 minutes later…. I tried AGAIN, told me it can’t connect to the server. I tried AGAIN and kept telling me that it can’t connect to the server.
I tried the website on my computer and signed in perfectly fine. What is wrong with this app?! No clue. I tried contacting Sony but they can’t help with the Creator’s App. So really, what do I do now? I can’t connect to this stupid app for 0 reasons…

  • Sony creators app

This app has to be one of the poorest quality apps available, it simply does not improve no matter how many updates they send out!! The most frustrating is when it connects then disconnects after loading all the photos forcing you to start all over again and it consistently does it every signal time without fail. Whoever created this app needs to have a quite word with themselves (Embarrassing) 🤨

  • Can’t sing in…

Unfortunately can’t sing in for some reason idk why
  • Certainly better than the horrid Imaging Edge

    Pro:

On my A7R5, setting up the connection has a more visible and sensible workflow, although slow. The connection seems more reliable. And tap-to-focus works on my iPad, which is an enormous improvement.

    Con:

To connect to my iPad, I must turn on not only WiFi but Bluetooth, which is insecure. I must also turn off my VPN.

Biggest problem: Swiping away -- to check the time or adjust the brightness of my iPad -- disconnects the app. That's dumb. Only quitting the app should disconnect. Setting up the connection again is slow and I've lost shots

Way too much screen real estate wasted by controls. At all times the image should be as large as possible, and I should be able to hide all the controls but the shutter button, which could float over the image

  • Bluetooth transfer

Yes, the number of times I’ve tried to use their own product with their own camera. It’s mind-boggling how bad this actually is, wait till you get home and use a wire. Come on Sony, you should be doing a lot better. Like another customer said, there is even spelling mistakes and some very well paid people signed off on this. We need more care please.

  • This might be the worst app I’ve ever used

This app is terrible. I tried using the app to edit some RAW pics from my a7 4. I must be doing something wrong as it was a slow long nightmare to upload the pictures only to find that I was unable to edit them? I guess this is what you get for free.
  • Not downloading photos

Ive tried transferring photos from camera to iphone a couple of times but the results of the photos are just plain gray raw files 🙄🙄🙄
  • Bad, poor interface, archaic

I would gladly give up my new Sony A7iv to never use this app again. A definitive zero in my ratings.
