Guava actually helps
I’ve been a fan and user of the Guava app for several months now, and let’s just say it’s been nothing short of a health detective for me. I’m a 48-year-old male who’s no stranger to health challenges. While I’ll keep the details to myself, believe me when I say they were serious.
Guava stepped in like a savvy sidekick, spotlighting a crucial health trend (177 BPM) that even I hadn’t pieced together. Thanks to what the app illuminated, I hobbled my way to urgent care who told me to go to the ER immediately where they addmitted me and I met with the chief of surgery and their team. Long story short, that was a game-changing decision. Kudos to Guava for giving me the nudge (okay, more like a push) right when it mattered most!
There are some details that I'd like to see added to the app but I'll communicate that with Guava directly. As soon as I start to feel a bit better.
The free version is awesome but the premium version is a magical.

Amazing
This app is absolutely amazing!!! There is so much flexibility in the way you can input data on your health. Their customer service is fantastic and they truly want to help you! I love being able to link my medical records to keep track of everything between medical charting systems. Talking to doctors is so much easier now that I can accurately track ALL my symptoms and show all the medicines I have been given or taken over the counter. Uploading the hospital records has been SO helpful. Absolutely amazing app, thank you so much to the Guava team!!!!

Finally, a completely customizable symptom tracker!
After literal years of looking for a simple solution for tracking my multiple health conditions (even going so far as to create my own overly-complicated spreadsheet), I almost cried when I found Guava. It’s everything I was looking for. You can add as many symptoms and other variables as you want, customize your home screen, easily find correlations between symptoms and triggers, and record detailed information about symptoms. Absolutely an essential app for people with chronic illness. I still get a little misty-eyed every time I open it because I can’t believe it took this long to find the perfect health app!

Extremely helpful!
I can find information faster then my doctors now. I can also share with my doctors when they can’t see each other. The ability to see all past lab values at once helps show trends. It also allows you to track symptoms, meds, exercise, anything you want. I have been searching for years for this. The developer is responsive and amazingly helpful as well. I highly recommend!

Wonderful and helpful
This app has streamlined the process of tracking my symptoms and external factors. It has the added bonus of helping correlate food and activities to symptoms that get worse afterward.
Having all my symptoms in a concise and and easy to access way, has made explaining it all to drs so much less stressful.
I can show them a graph of what has gotten worse/better and how I’m feeling on a regular basis.
I love being able to add medical records which helps me keep track of what days I ended up where and what treatments I received.
This app has helped me discover food allergies, exercises that harm me, and so much more. I truly cannot recommend it enough!

Best thing since MyMedical
I’ve been truly lost since MyMedical shut down (died an extended death) and I have been desperately looking for a great PHR.
It only took a moment of using Guava before I decided to go all-in on the extensive data transfer… and they even made it easy, with connections to most other tools, and an easy-to-use data import feature that can ingest almost everything in CSV form.
When I did have an issue, their development team was amazingly fast to respond… and they then edited the app based on my needs (adding another import path). Simply amazing customer service!
It only took a moment of using Guava before I decided to go all-in on the extensive data transfer… and they even made it easy, with connections to most other tools, and an easy-to-use data import feature that can ingest almost everything in CSV form.

Easily worth the cost
Guava unseated my previous symptom tracker app as my favorite, which I never thought would happen. I’ve only been using Guava for about 2 weeks, but it is better than all the other symptom trackers I’ve used and tried.
It’s easy to log, customizable, and the insights are super interesting. It keeps details liked the time you logged it (missing from my previous app), and it has many different options for viewing and comparing the data.
Added bonus: Customer service is excellent! Each time I’ve reached out for help or with feature requests, I’ve received a friendly, caring, and genuine response in a timely manner.
This app is easily worth the annual cost. If you’re managing chronic illness, trying to correlate lifestyle factors to symptoms, or need data to take to the doctor’s office, this is your app!

Exceptional app and developer responsiveness
Extremely useful for tracking. The insights are proving both interesting and useful. The app is well-thought-out and put-together. There is certainly plenty of room for improvement and for it to become even more useful and easy to use. But even as is, it is very much worth the subscription to me (and you can use many of the features for free). It also allows for a great deal of meaningful customization and adaptability within its current limits, allowing me to make it even more useful for me personally and to solve for the few limits of its current functionality. The pace of development is also impressive and the responsiveness to requests and suggestions (including, in one instance, introducing a major new feature, in a well-thought-out and well-executed way, within one day of the suggestion being submitted) is entirely unprecedented in my experience. In the above instance one of the creators of the app responded personally to my generic customer service ticket and wrote back and forth with me several times until and after my issue was resolved. I certainly wouldn't expect them to be able to offer that level of attention with any frequency. But I was deeply impressed and the experience confirmed my decision to use this app long-term and subscribe to the premium version, feeling confident that it will only get better.

This app is amazing!!! I have several chronic illnesses and this helps keep everything organized for me. I have the free version, and still can access everything I need. In addition, the founder/owner personally reached out to me to help connect one of my health providers after not being able to initially. I greatly appreciated this, as a lot of the time those kinds of requests can go unnoticed. I would highly recommend!

Wildly Helpful
I’ve never actually written a review in my decade of using iPhone apps, but this app has changed my life. Managing the diagnostic phase of severe gastroparesis/ dysautomia/maybe other neuro disorder, there are always way more information and personal logs and different hospitals with different systems than there are time and energy to manage them. This app has eliminated the “wait I don’t know what doctor ran that test or where” moment with specialists and helps me provide accurate and clean logs of my life and symptoms. It’s huge. Im so grateful.
