  • Still has problems after all this time.

    The App still has a long delay in showing your actual balance after a recent transaction. The website online version has the correct balance but the App takes time to catch up. Same goes after a payment is made using the App. Also I have had a ‘Transaction Pending’ for the last 4 months (that was paid but still flags as pending). Rang them weeks ago to rectify this but still no action.

  • Terrible app

    The app suddenly logged me out and when I tried to log back on it tells me that my login details are incorrect. I am able to sign on from the website with the exact same login information and I’m able to access my account without any problems. For a financial institution to have such problems is disgraceful compared to any other bank, building society or credit union.

    Since writing the last review, this app and bank are still rubbish. The worst bank I have ever seen. The app doesn’t work and then the internet login doesn’t either. JUST RUBBISH for an Australian bank.

  • Can’t log in

    Despite being over a year since I last left a review about not being able to use the app as it locked me out and says my credentials are wrong, this has not been fixed yet and I am still unable to log into the app.

    The info works online to log in so my credentials are not wrong but I can not long in and use the App features.

    This app was apparently bug fixed 2 months ago and still hadnt fixed this issue…

  • Still a broken mess

    Doesn’t accept my (correct) password. The website logging work but the APP doesn’t accept those credentials. Same issue for my wife. 1 years of the worst app implementation I’ve ever experienced. An embarrassment. Glad the ceo sent an apology letter last year but they’ve done nothing to fix the mess. Also, the app supports facial recognition that for some reason stopped working.

    Update: logged out again. Can’t log back in with correct credentials. Worst app I’ve ever used.

  • Hopeful

    Works reasonably well most of the time. Sometimes gets a bit dodgy after an update so I switch to my browser temporarily. Annoying but a workaround.
    The only ongoing issue I have is the pending transactions list. Even when the account balances are correct, it will still show pending transactions that are well and truly completed.
    I have stuff listed from last month and last year.

  • Garbage

    This app is unusable. Log in detail retrieval is a nightmare. 6 months ago they had bugs they told me would ironed out and they still have not. Accounts do not show finances properly and will display funds where there is none, it will also show your account in the minus when it is not. Staff on the phone have previously told me to use the browser for more accurate representation of current accounts. Their internet page is not mobile friendly. Whole thing is a schmozzle.

  • Absolute rubbish.

    August 2023 Update: The app now tells me my login details are ‘invalid’ when they aren’t, and the same details work fine on the website. How a bank thinks such a trash app is acceptable in 2023, and seemingly has no desire to rectify the issues and give it BASIC FUNCTIONALITY is beyond me. If you’re going to have an unusable app, you would think AT THE VERY LEAST they would create a mobile-friendly website, but no, you are forced to try and navigate the desktop-version of the police bank website on your phone.

    I will be changing banks as soon as I’m able.

  • Absolutely atrocious

    Constant problems and errors. I try to log in to the app my with account details and it says, “login failed, invalid credentials.” I go online to the website, use the same account details and it works fine. I change my password, the app works again then a couple of weeks later the same error happens over and over again, absolutely useless.

  • Incredibly terrible app and bank overall

    If negative star reviews existed this app and bank would be in line. The app is consistently glitching and money is momentarily being deducted and added in my accounts.

    I’m always being logged out because of a ‘server error’ then having to log in and whilst overseas having to contact police bank to log me back in.

    No 24/7 contact centre or resource for emergencies and no one to contact on weekends.

    Additionally to this you’d think a bank for police officers would have some better deals and incentives for cops and their families. Nope.

    New police officers and anyone else thinking of joining this bank don’t fall for the marketing and do your research and go elsewhere. I will be.

  • The most buggy app ever

    Been with policebank for about 10 years. The new app looks pretty but is full of bugs. It is so bad that it makes the app unusable for most daily banking tasks. They also have disabled comments on their Facebook page to hide the number of upset customers. I tried to persevere with the new app for ages but it is so bad I am changing banks. Sorry police bank it’s been a nice run and you’ve been good but the app is no good
