  • Use at your own risk

Requires your login info for your PSN account which for a third party service is very risky, personally I wouldn’t bother unless you potentially want your account stealing!
  • Works like a dream

Dont get a lot of tv time due to being a dad, so I use my ipad pro to remote play. This app combined with the gamesire g8+ is the perfect combination. Its literally like having a portable ps5!

This app performs so much better than the official ps app! £5.99 to upgrade to pro is an absolute bargain

  • It works great with WiFi but doesn’t seem to work with mobile data

The main reason i use remote play is for on the go
Gaming to pass time on a long car journey but this app shows an error when I use mobile data it’s possible an issue with me and not the dev but I can’t dind a solution anywhere
  • Better than Sony’s app

I particularly like that I can lock the resolution to 1080p and avoid the app switching to a lower resolution when there are transient connection issues.

Would really like to see an option for “no scaling” in addition to “stretched“ and “zoomed.” Sometimes 1:1 pixel mapping is just better.
  • Review thing whatever

The app and the features are alr and yeah, but for no reason i am somehow still lagging when i have good connection, idk why this happens, but is it possible for the team to fix this? Idk why remote play would lag sometimes, when you have good connection, like 3 wifi bar signals, i don’t get it, but still, is it possible for the team to fix this?

  • ALMOST Perfect

I recently hardwired my office which is on the opposite side of my house from the living room and I was skeptical and was reserved so I wouldn’t be disappointed if this didn’t work. IT DID! Using my Apple TV 4K, I played MLB The Show 22 (requires NO input lag in order to be good, I was good) and Spider-Man remastered. Bother flawless streams. I managed to load up Spider-Man at work using backbone one, but it was a little choppy (I’ll blame the WiFi at work) but still impressed that I was able to play almost like the PlayStation was meant for my phone.

THE ONLY GRIPE I HAVE: No co-op; I do believe there is a way to program this so you can do remote play. Similar to how the controller works with Bluetooth, I feel there is a way to make the app recognize a second controller to then sign into another account, or to register the PlayStation again but with a different Sony account so that a connection made to that console will have both profiles recognized. Grill is very smart for pulling this off and I’m sure my idea was thought about (if not, give it a go ;)…). If the developer could confirm that they are working on figuring out co-op, I’ll buy the app but outside of supporting the developer, there isn’t much that is hidden behind a paywall.

OVERALL: Great gaming experience, nice to play PlayStation again.

  • Woah

First of all, this app is better than PlayStation remote play, when I was using PlayStation remote play it would glitch and disconnect every five seconds but I had no issues with this app.

Second of all, I highly recommend this app if you want to play on your PlayStation from anywhere
  • iPhone HotSpot

    Hi

Your app looks and sounds great!

Can I request a feature? It’s probably not doable though I’ve been looking for it for a couple years now on casting apps.

Can an app use the iPhone to cast/stream/drop to the PS5 when it’s used as a Hotspot. The IP address I’m guessing is just generated by the iPhone, and while they are on the same local network, the iPhone is also on a separate mobile network.

Doesn’t the iPhone have the power and features to have an app stream/cast/drop to a PS5 version or the console itself in SharePlay or something? Helping with the handshake to link the devices and behaving as though connected to the same router/modem?

It just seems like a simpler and tidier way to do it. Or would it reduce the profits from all the smart tv/devices and dock/pod/base/nest stations?

Would be great to hear your thoughts on whether it’s possible?

  • Works flawlessly

    Way better than official app
  • Works great on Vision Pro

I’ve been using this app to play my PS4 on my Vision Pro and it’s been quite a positive experience. It even offers better controls such as bitrate settings then the official PS remote play app on PC.

I wish the developer would create a Vision Pro native version so that the aspect ratio would be native to the content.
