Use the official app
Never works for remote play, only local. Yes, I followed all instructions, and even with settings that allow PS Remote to connect within seconds, this app never will.
Not only that, but trying to use this app while away from home also messed something up and now I can’t even use PS Remote Play untilI get home and restart my PS5Show lessMuhammad MQ

Sorry to hear to that but once everything is configured correctly it will definitely work. Not sure what you mean with "it messed something up" but sometimes the remote play process on the PlayStation crashes (yes even with the official app) which requires a console restart.Dope App!
This app is wayyyyyy better than the original remote play app! It works great on my Iphone 13 ProMax. Im able to get a quick gaming session in before bed. Feels like I’m playing on my PS5. TL;DR - great dev, great app, know your own network.
I had used the PSPlay app intermittently for a while and was floored at the vastly superior experience and flexibility when compared to the licensed Sony PS Remote Play app. When the beta expired I went searching and found the official iOS release!
The dev is great and has an active subreddit where they genuinely engage. They battled with Apple for 6 months to formally put this app on the official iOS App Store…
This app is great out the box. The premium features are “nice to haves” bundled in a very generous one-time purchase.
Hardwired is inherently and largely more reliable than WiFi connections, although it is workable - just be wary of occasional dropped packages (inevitable). Great for “offline” games regardless, the aforementioned is a particular nuisance for “online” play. For a hardwired connection on the PS5 with iPhone 14 Pro on WiFi (local or remote) - seamless.
With a little know how you could further sure up the experience with PnP or minor custom configuration of your home router.

I’m so happy with this app, are use the beta version of this a little while ago, and was simply astonished by its performance. Now I couldn’t be happier that the final version is here and approved. This makes gaming on any Apple TV possible.

Time waster
You cant register the ps5 on apple tv because when you want to type your user id it only can be numbers, no letters available! 👍very good. I dont understand, who is developing these apps, they dont even try it at least once?! When i want to sign in with iphone, it doesnt let me for some reason… so i cant register. Very good. But i beleive the “in app purchase” is carefully developed and working just perfect 😀Show lessspilltomi999199@

There is an active community available and I developed and tested the app for more than 14 months! So sure I'm testing it. YOUR account id only contains numbers you don't need your user id, the app literally shows you an alert dialog with a link upon unsuccessful login with all information. MirrorPlay is accepting the raw account id which only contains numbers. The easiest way to query your account id is using this website https://psn.flipscreen.games/ Please don't accuse me to not testing my apps! Next time please contact me via the PSPlay subreddit or via mail. Thanks. Ps: not sure why being so offensive to be honest. Just spend at least 2 minutes on Reddit and you will find out that I do everything I can to offer support! Really looking forward to your reply! Great app that works well on Mac, iOS, and Apple TV! Originally downloaded to stream my PS5 to other rooms in my home via Apple TV since Sony has no native app, but have found myself using this app on all my devices for remote gaming when I’m away from home as well!T_I_T_O
