Excellent alternative to the official app and Apple TV support

Vastly superior to official app
I have a Backbone and originally was using the official PS app to remote game. It was barely possible between lag that destroyed gameplay or blurred visuals so bad you could barely see anything. Then I discovered this app, and it has worked perfectly. No lag, no disconnects and easy setup. Highly recommended!Show lessJastos
Way better than ps remote play app

Better than Sony’s remote play app
Honestly this app kills Sony’s. The only barrier to entry is to get full access to what the app can do, you need to pay $6. But $6 is so worth it. There’s so many settings to tweak compared to the official app AND it works better. Seriously. I’ve been using the apps local connect option to play my ps5 from my bed or another room and it plays so well, I honest to god can’t tell its streaming. I’ve played fighting games ONLINE without noticeable latency issues, that’s how good this app is. Seriously if you are having issues with the official app or want a smoother remote play option, support this app. You can try it out for free, but spend the $6 to get all the options if it’s your fancy - 100% worth it.Show lessSean424
Turn AppleTV into a ps5
Been waiting for ages for Sony to release a official app for appleTV. Works great on all my AppleTVs. Turn your appleTVs all through your house into a PlayStation 5. Works perfect!eeeteeweeeteecoolkid24
Phenomenal on AppleTV
Great job - very impressive performance on the AppleTV 4K extending the Livingroom PS4 throughout the house.
I’ve noticed however that the MP app doesn’t finish connecting to the PS4 (stalls on the wake process, all latest software/firmware) unless the PS4 and ATV have been restarted.
Workaround at the moment is to wake the PS4 in some other manner prior to connecting (using Sonys remote app or physically waking the console).

So Much Better Than Official App!
This is probably the first time I’ve ever written a review for an app. I almost had given up on Remote Play with my PS. I have decent upload and download speeds on both ends but for some reason still experienced horrible connections. It made no sense I was experiencing this. After some digging, I came across this app and I’m so glad I did! After configuring my router, I can now experience Remote Play as it should be experienced! Thank you so much for developing this app!! A HUGE PLUS that the app takes advantage of the whole screen on my phone!!! It drove me absolutely CRAZY when the official didn’t have this option.Show lessstachetosh
Can’t even login
The logging in is way too stupid and dumb. I can’t even login because it says to enter my credentials and that’s way too personal and much… and my PS IP. That is way too personal. If y’all made it me put in my account name and have my internet on the same one with my PS4 then I’m never using it. It’s too personal and I can’t login. I was exited to use it to test out the lag but y’all lost a new customer. You all need to make it work and get it fixed so I can come back and see if it works. I’m going to go back and use the original ps remote play and not worry about this one. I spent my whole frickin day worrying about this app. Y’all need to understand me and update this app. I don’t like it.Show lessAndreiBashy

This is required by the remote play protocol, no way around that. It's needed to get your account id. If you want you can also enter the account id manually so that you don't need to perform a PSN login, you can use for example this Webservice to get it https://psn.flipscreen.games/ I would really appreciate if you could update your rating as these are things I can't change, sorry. I was skeptical but this is absolutely amazing. Not only is the connection better but you can map the ROG Ally keys. Basically saved me $200 PS Portal with a $6 app!MikeGB2020

I’ll be honest, I haven’t even downloaded this app yet but I LOVE THIS DEVELOPER!!!!!!
I’m sure that once people understand how to utilize the internet like an adult should be able to, they will realize that it takes more than one person to be able to offer support for every scenario they will calm down a bit 🤣🤣🤣. That being said, I do plan on trying this with my Apple TV and will update this review after I have tried it.
