Forced to install

I was coerced to install the app to activate a physical SIM card after paying public mobile. This is not right.

Cannot login.

I am stuck in a login loop:
I downloaded the app and click “Login.”
The app opens a captive window, and I successfully login. It sends me a one-time code, which I input.
Then the captive window closes and nothing happens. I’ve reinstalled a dozen times.

So I am currently paying for a number but not receiving the service.

Find another provider

The app opens in the browser and then onto a blank page. There are no contact details for customer support. The chat box doesn’t connect you to either a bot or a person for help to set up an account. To initiate set up PM charges first, then leaves left me hanging without a number or activation. The website also does not have any option to cancel the payment, and after reading other reviews, as advised I called my credit card company to cancel the card to avoid recurring charges; and lodged a dispute to have the initial charge reversed for service not provided.

Failed to issue eSIM

The app failed to properly issue the eSIM to my device and I was forced to go out an purchase a physical SIM. Apps this buggy and unresponsive shouldn’t be allowed on the App Store.

Please fix transferring number algorithm.

I have recently transferred my number to Public Mobile, all was great, all is working as expected. But when I recommended my colleague to try PublicMobile, he experiences an issue, he cannot get a confirmation sms code due to his plan was data-only, so now he cannot even cancel the subscription, because when he signs in it always asking to provide an sms, no other options are available.
Please fix this issue, at least after 90 mins give other option, like choose another number or something else. Thanks in advance.

Useless

Everything about this company is useless. You literally cannot get through to ANY customer service and so I thought the app would at least be helpful but it’s not. I can’t wait to change phone providers. Sure it’s cheap but so are most phone plans in Canada now. Not worth it at all. Sketchy!!!

Absolutely useless can’t post a payment

For over a month I’ve been trying to pay a Canadian public mobile number with a American credit card. Which, according to their terms of service is perfectly acceptable. In fact, I had one on file with them which they discontinued as the year rolled over now they want you to enter the matching postal code for your US credit card but of course they don’t accept ZIP Codes. I guess they hired people that I’ve never traveled outside of whatever little two bit village they’re in

This company is total garbage

Too many issues to even list, including no way to contact customer service. Rather, the community of users attempt to run the customer service. Spoiler alert: it doesn’t work

Dead loop

Payment for subscription was successful. Activation failed. Then this company locked me out of my account out of no reason. Every sign in failed with message “forbidden”. Resetting password won’t solve the issue. Try to get help but I need to sign in to be able to submit a ticket. Now I’m in the dead end. Tell me how can I cancel my subscription! This company is just a scam.

Incredibly slow and basically unusable…

Idk why they never update the speed of this app but its so pointlessly slow, its a wonder how its running. How is one able to manage their account if the app doesn’t even let them access the account in the first place?? Not to mention their data speed. I CANT USE MY OWN DATA THAT I PAY FOR TO ACCESS THE APP
