Excellent app - really useful!
Great app. It is exactly the tool I have been looking for. A graded reading and listening tool with interesting stories and articles.
I’ve subscribed for a month so far as I am really enjoying the app and it’s helping to improve my comprehension. But if they want long term subscribers, I think the price should be reduced.Show lessEllg17

Just finished the free trial and absolutely loved this app. It is excellent content and clearly they’ve put in a huge amount of effort putting it together. There was no pricing information up front so I was getting excited about working this new app into my daily study routine and was disappointed to find out the price. It’s a great app but unfortunately it’s too expensive for me especially since it’s on top of the basic TTMIK subscription I’m already paying.Show lessSpelter

This app is wonderful! There are many, many stories to practice reading and listening. It is just what I needed.
There is one small issue that I hope is a bug and not a feature - I can't seem to access the text for the "articles" after completing the quiz like I can for the "series." I am hoping a future update will correct this issue. I find it very helpful to revisit the text days/weeks later to iron out phrases that still trip me up in my listening practice.Show lessTTMIK_fan

The app is worth it, so I would recommend trying the trial period at least! I can imagine how much this app would help me go forward with my TOPIK reading part, so I am already a subscriber :DJhonnnny00

Just found this incredible Korean reading app! The daily practice is so convenient, and I love the variety of topics covered. The flashcards make it so easy to review and memorize new words encountered in articles!boiled_egg

I really like the app and others have already mentioned some things that I agree should be changed or updated. My major request would be that the stories have English or at least a short summary about what the story is (at least for early levels, like 1-3). For example, in Easy Korean Reading, it has the story in Korean first then you’re allowed to read the English after. Even if you gave a summary—such as for the first story in level 1–that said “a recent college graduate going to their interview meets an old lady while waiting for the bus” would be fine. It just gives a general idea of what to expect.
Also, every single word should be available to click on for absolute beginners. I read it’s for extensive reading, but I think subscribers should have a choice—especially at such a high price point. However, the price isn’t too excessive since it is does include real voices reading. So I would subscribe for a month or two just to get a nice burst of fresh and interesting reading material.Show lesscuddlepoo

I gave it 4 stars as it’s a really thought out app with a great purpose. It’s nice to have articles and stories to read at your learning level that you can read, listen to then learn vocabulary from. There’s nothing like this available yet for learning Korean so it’s a great learning resource for many.
However I do think as a standalone app paying that much a month for the app is a bit much. I do see people at an intermediate level using this much more than beginners so if you are a beginner in Korean I don’t recommend investing in this app, especially when you cannot highlight any word in the text and just the text in bold; meaning you won’t be able to pick up the whole context of the story without prior knowledge of vocabulary and verbs etc. But if you are a intermediate learner, this app is definitely worth the money as there are tons of context for you to go through and learn from and this is handy for exams too like the TOPIK exam etc with the quizzes at the end of each story or article
For me as a beginner, as much as I love this app, I can’t see this being useful for my learning as of yet, especially at the price point. But well done to the TTMIK team for creating another great resource for Korean learners!Show lesscznnny
