App will not connect
I just purchased a black label tabletop because it was the only tabletop grill I could find that had WiFi capabilities. After setting up the grill, I tried many times include calling support to get it to connect. No such luck. Even support told me that it’s a known issue. It is affecting both Louisiana Grills and Pitboss. They need to fix this quickly. It’s the main reason I bought this grill. HELPShow lessSC IA
Needs a lot of work
The app used to be okay. Now you can’t set a probe temp at all, the app lacks programming like the GMG app. Please make the app way better !!!!DCMFHolla
Louisiana Lousy App
The fact that this company has allowed this app to be a part of their marketing for years without correcting the issues is an embarrassment for their products and reputation.
I hold no hope that this will be fixed and bought their product under false advertising. This WiFi does not work as they describe. Run Forest Run to another manufacturer.Show lesscbscam
Terrible app
Just bought the grill and the app says an update is needed but crashes at 44% complete every time. The support rep tried to help but to no avail. She told me to call back in a few days to see if they have fixed the app. I have very little hope. I thought I was upgrading with this smoker but it’s a total disappointment.Show lessUnhappy smoker
Apps desperately needs an update
I love my LG smoker but the app is terrible. Is anyone working on this app? It has so much potential if a developer would work on it. Alerts are silent no matter what you do which makes the app almost useless. Can Dansons please pay a developer to work on this app so it can be on par with their awesome smokers?!?Show lessTcarter13
App keeps disconnecting!

Mediocre
Works ok to control grill temperature and monitor meat temperature.
A bit glitchy when adjusting grill temperature, will occasionally not register the change.
Wish the meat temperature had a plot and time to target estimate.

Works well enough, features missing
What could make this app great are the following, relatively easy to code features:
- A history graph for the past 24h on the main grill temp and all the external probes, one sample per minute is amply enough.
- Based on the past progression of the temperature on a probe and its set target temperature, give a time estimate of approximately when the target temp should be reached. This estimate would be revised every 5 minutes, of course, to account for varying conditions. This would be very useful for readjusting grill temperature for low&slow cooks when the cook is in its "stable & under way" stage.Show lessfr33p
Terrible app connection
Constant disconnect and won’t reconnect. Pointless to have the app if it’s never working . At this point based on previous reviews you would think they would have done something by now to fix this issueScottyobmu
Waste of time
Don’t waste your time downloading. For one of the higher end smokers this app is a total disappointment. Won’t connect to wifi. And if it does just hangs uprdman1975
