Lots of room for improvement
There is slot of room for improvement on this app. The competitors apps CampChef, Traeger and GMG are so much more advanced.
This app provides the basic monitoring of temp. No notifications on either when temp has been achieved. No advanced temp monitoring in probes or notification. Can build a recipe plan for multi stage cooking.
The app in no way reflect the quality of their grill product. Which is awesome.

Smoke it app was way better.
Half of the functions and features that the old smoke it app convinced me to buy a Black Label grill and now all those features have been removed or disabled in the new appJohnnyawesome885
App doesn’t connect
I have a black label 1000 series smoker. The smoker works awesome but the app is junk. Will not connect to my iPhone through Bluetooth. I’ve seen several other post about this and you would think they would do something to fix this. Buy it for the smoker but if you are wanting the app to work I’d find another one.Show lessDawgs 4 eva
Target probe temp
You can’t set the target meat probe temp so you never get a notification. Hopefully this can be fixed in a future update. Setup was a bit clunky but it’s working okay other than the probe issue.77Chaze

App is Junk
Just bought the new Louisiana grill after being a long time non digital Louisiana grill owner. Download the app and cannot get past step 2 of the 6. Will not move past enable Bluetooth screen cannot hit continue. Love the grills but the app is garbage. Be better and create an app the rivals your grills.Show lessRanching Man

Lackluster online infrastructure
It is thanksgiving and the servers are overloaded because everyone is trying to cook their turkey. I am unable to monitor and change grill settings which was the MAIN reason for us to spend the money on a grill. Very disappointed. Invest in multiple online locations to serve the pages to customers. What a joke!Show lessb370
No Wifi connection and Slow Bluetooth
The app doesn't find my wifi network and won’t accept it when I enter it manually. It is really slow to also connect via Bluetooth however, when I go in to control the grill it times out and gives the “timed out message” it is completely useless as an app. My founders series 1200 is great but the app is an embarrassment.Show lessShankasauras
