Garbage app
I’ve called and I still cannot get my smoker to connect with this app. The Smoke It app wasn’t great, but at least I could connect it to my grill!Broncos36

Louisiana owns this App
I’ve been on the phone with LG several times about this app. Their hardware is AWESOME! The app is HORRIBLE!! Never connects to Bluetooth or wi-fi. I’ve interrupted several smokes to shut down & unplug the smoker with hopes it will connect. No, never does. Since Louisiana Grill owns this app now there is NO excuse for the issues. The only thing they say is an update will come out. When???? They don’t know….really?? You can do better LGShow lessKman Tucson
App is a disaster
Love my smoker and one of the reasons I bought the founder series was cause of the connectivity. However, they released a new app and it’s a disaster. Won’t send notifications and when I called the help line they just told me “don’t know what to say, it’s a new app”. They have a lot of little bugs to fix.Show lessSmoke Show Canada
Not working well
Connection issues persist and it appears the app will randomly turn the power off for the whole grill without any notice so you have to restart the whole process over and over.sren06
Temp probe
When you set probe temperatures the icon on app is not showing target temperature.
Notifications to iPhone are silent no mater what your volume is at. Makes the above issue useless.
Timer count down does not make any noise either just displays timer complete on Lock Screen. No sound.

Awful app.
This app is worse than SmokeIt and the options are poor. Better interface, but the app is lacking control and functionality.
A friend has a Pit Boss and the new updated app for that is far better than this… same company, so why is this app not being updated?

Old Smoke It App was Better
Setting the meat probe target temperature doesn’t work, so you never get notified when the meat is at temp.MaiseyMoo91
Useless
This app along with the previous Smoke IT app are useless, the price tag on my smoker wouldn’t have hinted at it being an overpriced manual pellet smoker.
Neither app allows for probe temp settings. The only thing new with this app is that it updated my grill firmware. The app itself is EXTREMELY slow, it’s painful.
People have mentioned the app for Android is miles ahead of the iOS App Store, they should probably fix that issue.
Best you can do with this app is set the desired temperature, set a timer and power it off. It’s pointless in all reality, you have to stare at your phone just as you would stare at the smoker itself, or alerts for temperature probes and not being able to set that temperature is terrible.
