  • ADHD TAX

    This app takes advantage of people with ADHD because the only way to cancel your subscription is to go to the *website* You can’t even cancel it through the app and it doesn’t show up on your subscriptions on Apple. I signed up for the “free trial” and then actually did remember to cancel it a few days later but couldn’t find it in my subscriptions so figured maybe I had already done it or maybe I hadn’t actually signed up for it (those with ADHD will understand this struggle) Soooo then when my bank account got charged for $25, I realized that I have been fooled. I finally just canceled it, but be warned! If you plan on just trying it for a few days, remember to go to their actual website to cancel NOT the app or your Apple subscriptions like a normal application. I don’t see any reason why this would need to design their cancellation process this way other than to try and scam people out of money.
  • Only used it for a day, but don’t wanna stop.

    I only had time to use it one time last week and the one day I did use it. I got so much done and I didn’t feel overwhelmed and stressed. I’m gonna continue using it and see if this app is truly gonna help improve my scheduling. it’s helping me learn so much about how my brain works as well. It makes scheduling, dare I say it, fun. I know if you’re reading this I wouldn’t believe me either but it’s true. If you don’t believe me, give it a try. If you don’t like it just cancel it. No skin off my nose if you like it or not, I’m just telling you it works for me. Doesn’t mean it work for you, but you’ll never know unless you try it.

  • Finally, an app that cares nothing of my to-do list!

    I have tried what feels like every ADHD app on the market. Gamify your life this! Hack your attention that! None of them resulted in my life changing the way I was desperate for - until this one. This app cared very little of my to-do list, instead focusing its attention on the deep work needed to make it happen. For the first time, I started to see change and progress in my life - even after the first week! I have never encountered an app as specific and intentional in its mission of aiding ADHD as this one. I am so thankful I gave it a try. I recommend this app to anyone who is excited to finally take steps forward.

  • Increased chargeable work hours

    I have only been using clarify 4 days. I am paid hourly as an engineer, which I like for the flexibility it gives me however I have anyways found it a challenge to allocate my work hours to projects and tend to undercut myself.

    Using clarify I have been able to focus on specific aspects of projects without getting sidetracked, and that has helped me increase the hours I feel I can legitimately charge for.

    Thank you for the easiest pay rise I've ever had!

  • Non functional, keeps freezing

    2 stars because how am I supposed to use an app that keeps freezing and doesn’t let me navigate it ? I just downloaded it, hopeful and already i’m frustrated when it’s supposed to help improve my life. Good thing I didn’t pay the $16 for the trial because it would be ever worse. ADHDers already struggle with money management, imagine taking advantage of them, reeling them into a pretty app that doesn’t work and then (according to other comments) refusing a refund for garbage. “wE’rE wOrKinG oN iT” ok well you shouldn’t have released an ineffectual product that wasn’t even ready. Guessing you left a sour taste in many customers’ mouths which drastically reduces the chance they’ll come back after a bad experience.

  • Preys on people with ADHD!

    They gave me a one month free trial and then sent me emails saying things like “this is our last email. We’re sorry to see you go!” before charging me $40. It was very deceptive and they’re obviously banking on people with ADHD to not keep track of their subscriptions in detail. I didn’t actually find the app that helpful either. About developer response: They didn’t respond to my email request for a refund and denied my request for a refund through PayPal. I used to be a fan of the fabulous app, but this experience has been terrible. I’ll give the website help center a try and update with whether I get a response there.

    Edit: Just got a response from the help center: “After careful consideration, I regret to inform that in line with our T&Cs, this purchase is not eligible for a refund.”
    If I could give them negative stars at this point I would. Not just deceptive emails but deceptive responses on the App Store too. Shame on them.

  • Terrible

    UPDATE: Fabulous - Your "Help Center" literally returns no information on the straightforward query: "How to cancel free trial." This is shady.
    The closest article is "How to manage a premium subscription" which I do not have and do not want. These instructions do not work. I cannot cancel through Apple or through your website, or through your app. Cancel my free trial immediately!

    Not "Fabulous" at all. Shady in fact. Signed up for a trial of "Clarify for ADHD" via Instagram ad. App is not "Clarify" at all. For ADHD, clear, straightforward, simple navigation is everything. This is everything but. Now trying to cancel, and have wasted so much time not being able to get through the multiple not straightforward "help" articles. Just another exploitative company jumping on the adhd bandwagon. Uncool!

  • Good Concept, Needs Significant Improvements for Usability

    I recently tried the Clarify ADHD app, hoping it would be a helpful tool in managing my ADHD. However, I've found that the app could use some serious tweaks to better serve its target audience. The amount of reading required is overwhelming for someone with ADHD. It would be extremely beneficial if the text could be paired with audio playback, making the content more accessible and easier to digest.

    The habit tracker, which should be a central feature, is frustrating to use and far from user-friendly. This tool is essential for helping users like myself stay focused and manage daily tasks, yet its current setup just adds to my irritations rather than alleviating them.

    In conclusion, while the app has potential, it needs to better accommodate the needs of its users by reducing reliance on text and improving the functionality of key features like the habit tracker.

  • Might not be for me

    So it might just not be for me, which not everything is going to be and several people seem to like it. BUT It makes a water droplet noise upon opening and my phone will sometimes randomly make the same noise even though the app isn’t open. There doesn’t seem to be any option to stop it. I’ve turned off all the sounds in the app and all notification sounds for the app. Still happens and it’s really grating. All their apps seem to do this.
    Edit: actually it seems to be the apps Fabulous, Clarify, and Elixir. The other two (not counting Ambience) do not do the sound.
