A delightful experience

Using Callsheet is a delight. The clean design and brings information to the surface quickly.
My favourite part is Where to Watch, very useful in these days of multiple streaming services.

Fantastic app. Does what it says on the tin

I also appreciate the commercial model, it’s obvious the developer sweated the details on that part.
Highly recommend!

Useful for cheating on New York Times crosswords

So often the crossword has a clue about some obscure American TV show or movie and Callsheet always comes to the rescue with a quick search for the name of a title, actor or crew member.

Incredibly Useful

If you’re anything like me and spend half of your time on IMDb looking up information on shows and movies while you watch them, this is the tool for you.

It’s faster, sleeker, and easier to get the exact info you want. It’s also reasonably priced and ad free.

The creator is constantly making improvements for the better, whether it’s speed improvements on the back end, UI tweaks for ease of use, or brand new features.

You won’t regret the purchase. I promise.

Forget IMDB this is KING.

Used since it first came out and wow it’s brilliant. Forget IMDB as this, as many have said, is more in-depth and without bloatware. It’s worth the £9 annual just to support the dev who updates and maintains this app constantly. The UI is smooth and very clear. It’s just a joy to open and use.
Thank you very much for this.

Amazing App

Such a great app. Its nice and clean and simple which seems to be a hard thing to find these days. Happy to give it 5 stars, pay the subscription and recommend it to anyone who is looking for a great app for finding movie and tv show details. 😁

Fast and a good fit

This app retains the speed and simplicity of the phone version, and is also a good fit for this platform. The app looks very nice with the new glassy semi-transparent material look, and the movie poster thumbnails are high enough quality that they look fine when presented as quite large. The “touch” targets and buttons are big enough that it’s relatively easy to activate them without making mistakes. The main search bar now adorns the bottom of the window.

There’s a search history panel that makes it easier to access past searches through large buttons instead of trying to type. I couldn’t correctly clear out the search history in that panel, but I expect that it may be a feature that’s coming soon.

The features here don’t require augmented or virtual reality, but it’s great to have the app here because many people are using their devices to watch movies and television. Generally, if you’re happy with this app on other platforms, you’ll probably also be happy with it here because the quality is similarly very high and it follows native platform conventions.

Lacking

Decent enough app, but if I’m going to pay for it I expect better “Where to Watch” results that are accurate. As far as I can determine this app does not include Kanopy in Canada. Makes me think it’s probably missing other services as well, which renders that feature useless.

A great alternative to IMDB’s challenging interface

Callsheet a great companion for anyone who wants to know the details of the movie or TV show that they’re watching. A lovely and uncluttered user interface that makes getting the information quick and easy. The price is more than right and in fact I would say is a steal.

Clean App, Fewer Distractions than IMDb app

I’ve been using this app for about a week with a paid membership. (A very inexpensive $9 a year.) I’ve been very much enjoying it over IMDb‘s app, because of its lack of distracting videos, ads, and other Clickbait.

Callsheet still easily takes you to IMDb for doing deeper dives for photos of actors or photos from particular movies, and for the trivia and quotes, but for the lion’s share of “who is that, and what else have they been in” questions, this app is tops.

The display of the ages of actors/writers/directors/crew at the time the movie was made/released is also a treat.
