  • Not realistic

This app is pretty silly. The amount of hands you will lose to the most improbable plays will drive you nuts.
  • Overall a great app

Overall this is a fun poker app, especially since it is free and ad-free. A couple things I'd like to see would be some "quick bet" buttons with various dollar amounts or 1/2 pot bet options so I don't always have to "dial in" my bet. Secondly would be an option to always skip the "acting" in portrait mode. Sometimes it's just easier to hold the phone that way but I dislike the cutaways most of the time. Really enjoy the app!

  • Missing my poker with the lads this is good but...

Like other reviews with similar ratings it seems the tables are rigged. I find going all in pays its rewards too much and the level difficulty seems the same no matter how far you get. Good luck trying to get to las vegas or Macau nigh on impossible! Still don't get me wrong free and its fun until it just gets frustrating....

  • Entertaining, however...

I originally gave this app 5 stars the first time it came out because there wasn’t a lot out there. So Apple brings this back, but they haven’t improved it one bit. So now it’s a 2. The betting patterns are ridiculously high and unrealistic, and I can’t tell you how many times I fall victim to a bad beat. So let’s say I get an AQ, and somebody raises the blind $60. I call, and then someone else raises to $260, then it gets raised to $540. At this point, I’m going all in because I have a great starting hand, but then I get beat by K5. This does happen, don’t get me wrong, but not EVERY single hand.

  • Magnificent

This game should never leave the App Store! One of the original and best!
  • Positive reviews are fake

The algorithm makes it nearly impossible to win. As you progress in levels the game bets against you really hard and forces you too blind high against your odds only. Higher level games can’t last more than 2 minutes even if you fold on every single hand. It forces the money out of you.
The game is not randomized. Coding is bad for whoever made the game should fix it
The game actually knows who has the highest cards all the time and the bets are placed accordingly. YOU CAN NOT BLUFF IN THIS GAME. 000% bluff.
The only bluffs the game ever lets you win are always tiny tiny tiny tiny pots and the ai always have the same hand A and J. Game is broken

  • Betting by Bots unrealistic.

I’ve been using this App for a while because it’s the one of the few multi player with good graphics. That said the algorithm is not very realistic. Very high bets on small pots with highly improbable starting winning hands. Big and small blinds consistently have foldable hands against, again, improbable betting with small pots. And finally consistent bad beats, again, with improbable starting hands.
The game is easily beaten by bypassing 90% of early bets
and after half the Bots have been eliminated. A middle or higher pair or an Ace with a face card is a minimum after half of the Bots are eliminated. Risker bets are better played when only 3 players are left to play guaranteeing at least a third place finish.

Updated - not even close to probable betting based on hand to pot probability.
This app isn’t even worth the one star because of an unrealistic betting algorithm. Very high bets on small pots with highly improbable starting winning hands. Big and small blinds consistently have foldable hands against, again, improbable betting with small pots. And finally consistent bad beats, again, with improbable starting hands.

  • River river river

    Update:
Deleting app. Played another game after writing this review and the bad beats just seemed worse. It’s a shame that these developers have no idea how to program this. Has the potential to be great but unfortunately it’s not.

I have never seen so many rivers in all my decades of playing poker. This game could be great if the geniuses would fix the river wins. I counted a few times after I’ve been rivered and have rivered multiple times. 75% of the hands in a game were one on the river. That’s just ridiculous. Also, who goes all-in or calls an all-in with 72 off? Or K3 off. I know, the “CPUs” in this game. Fix these issue and you will have a much better game.

  • Hand rank

The game has awarded winning hands to lower rank a number of times. It seems to be mostly when holding a straight against lower hands.
  • Great App

I use to play this on my iPod. I am glad that it is on my iPhone and iPad.
