Great Grocery List manager
particularly during the Covid period when family members could see your list and bring you your items. Used it for years and years.
I like the watch app, but it only shows you item and not quantity!

Disappointed 😒
After so many years of using this app, I had accumulated tons of products that I use on a daily basis, sorted by stores and also had over 15 different shopping list for all different occasions. This past week everything was erased! I’ve tried to reach the developer to ask if it’s really all gone or if there is a fix for it. I restarted my phone and no results. The developers have not responded to me. I used to recommend this app, overall it’s a good one to use, but if I am going re-build my lists and product names, I want to ensure I won’t lose all the work I put into it. I’m looking at other apps and may end up switching to a different one.

Free mode now broken
Free mode stopped working. Previous list (extensive) gone. Can’t add items. As with lists, I’m too, gone!
Used to be a great app
I’ve been using this app for many years and it was one of my go to apps. It was just wonderful for shopping at the very stores and I regularly shop in. I have hundreds of items on my list. A couple of upgrades ago it decided to add almost every item in all my lists to the local hardware store I had recently added. And if you delete the store you delete everything in its lists, so I can’t delete it. Further I just found out I can’t add stores anymore at all. I can’t believe how far downhill this app has gone in the last couple of years. One star is way too good for this app.

Pas fait pour le Canada
L’application n’est pas adaptée au Canada. Exemple: Je ne sais pas ce que lait écrémé ou semi écrémé veut dire. Ceci n’est qu’un exemple parmi tant d’autres.
De plus, c’est surtout en anglais et il y a beaucoup trop de très mauvais commentaires.

Best grocery shopping app ever
A great app that we have been using for years. I have it set up for my main shopping store, everything in aisle order and it is shared with hubby so shopping is a breeze. Items are ticked and checked off as we shop. So easy. And it is user friendly, easy to add new item, categories and stores. Love it

Reliable and Feature-rich Shared Shopping App
Our family has used shopping apps with sync for years. We periodically try a new app that claims significant improvement to the shopping experience but return to Grocery Gadget every time! Grocery Gadget has a flexible user interface that easily supports multiple lists and stores. Can also be easily tailored for nearly any shopping list type. Highly recommend this tool!

Great app ruined by a a greedy developer

I have been using Grocery Gadget for years. It was free at first, and then the company decided to use ads, and previous customers (like me) were offered an incentive of a ONE TIME lifetime charge of $0.99 to continue with no ads. Then it went to $0.99 per year ... inching up, but still worth it. Now the price is $10 per year AND the developer tracks what you buy and INSERTS NEW ITEMS TO YOUR SHOPPING LIST!! That is invasive and completely out of line. No app, no matter how useful , is worth dealing with unscrupulous developers. I urge you to think carefully before you get caught in this company’s tangled web.

Can’t imagine shopping without it!
I have been using this app for years and absolutely love it. It is particularly helpful when my wife and I are both out shopping but at different stores, as we can track items that have been purchased in real time so we avoid duplication. If one of us is out shopping and the other is at home and remembers items that need to be added the person out shopping sees these items being added (or removed).

It’s was GREAT… until
What a pity. Best app I had found. Was prepared to write rave review. Was gonna buy the upgrade subscription. Used it for a month and Loved it! Loaded up numerous items in different stores. Used bar codes. Super easy use and warned you had lower prices entered at a different store. And then…… It suddenly wouldn’t let me change stores or switch between only 2 of them. It’s totally unuseable to me like this. No Response from tech support. Glad I didn’t spend the $. On to find a different list program.
Update: customer service has reached out.
App is working again.
Will give it another go ….. but will keep a backup app going and delay on upgrade decision til I am confident. Crossing my fingers because I really liked/like it.
