This guy has kept up w years of iOS updates and continues to improve a great product. I use it more than the phone app. The last improvement on startup time is much appreciated.
Best RPN Calculator for mobile devices
I’ve been using this app for a couple years now and I’ve never been disappointed. It is awesome.
Lovely 41CX+
This is HP 41CX+ relived. I have been using 41CX+ since 1984 in my Uni days.
I m so glad that now I can carry it in my pocket with my iphone. Best app, I have been using this app for more than 5 years now, never regret to be part of iCX+ family. If you love RPN, this definitely for you.

If you love RPN, you'll love this calculator
I had the real thing going through school and was so excited to see this app. This latest release really speeds up the initial loading experience. I have used this app for years and it just keeps getting better.
Could be great with three improvements...
This is an xcellent reproduction of the original HP41CX+ which was arguably the most useful scientific calculator in history, but I have three gripes:
1) The nearly 4 seconds it takes to load.
2) The scaled down button size required to fit the iPhone screen. I find myself constantly checking to make sure the key I pressed actually registered correctly with the program.
3) The original calculator has a crisp click feel when you touch the key.
Since this is a simulation, that is not possible however haptic feedback may be a solution to this problem.
All that being said my comfort factor with the original keeps me using this app as my go-to calculator. Please address the above for a five star rating.

Awesome piece of software
This is the most incredible recreation of the infamous HP-41CX calculator (backup computer for the Apollo moon landing) merged with modern computer capabilities and a full Computer Algorithm System. This is like the best Scientific/Graphical/Mathematical System squeezed into a mobile phone that you could ever need. Having retired after 40 years in the IT Industry this has to be the best piece of programming I've ever seen.

I cannot rave enough about the i41CX+ app. I have a real hp41CV from college and grad school days (mint condition). I use it rarely so that it doesn't wear out.
First HP I owned was a model 67 and I was hooked. This 41cx app keeps the entire 41 product and accessories, and then some, in my pocket. Couldn't be more happy with the performance and user experience. Well done !! Please keep it going. It's bad enough HP has abandon these gems. I'd like to know that this app will remain for years to come. Thanks for the great work.

This is one of my most used programs. I grew up with RPN and can’t really use anything else efficiently. Thank you!
Calculator great - IPad Pro implantation poor
All the 5 star reviews are dead on with respect to the operation of the calculator. However this application poorly integrates with the IPad Pro. It does not support multitasking well which prevents you from having the calculator open next to another app to which you want to use the calculator with. This makes this this app over priced until this poor implementation is fixed. They should state this limitation in their product description.

Better than the original
The HP41cx+ calculator uses Reverse Polish Notation (RPN) which is an absolute must for me. The HP41cx+ program by Antonio Lagana faithfully replicates the original HP41 and adds all the bells and whistles which were later developed for the calculator all in one package. Not only do you get the fabulous HP calculator but you get all the overlays, the ability to run a tape with graphics, the extra memory, all the programming functions, the extreme precision and RPN. This program yields an excellently fully functioned, easy to use calculator. It is a joy to use!
