Really great app for users that like being in control of the music they are listening to
I have gone through music app after music app that could allow me to relive all those years of enjoying yahoo music at its prime like I did as a kid. Though Deezer falls a little short on the sound quality compared to other apps, I love that when I choose an artist to listen to or chose a specific album to listen to and NOT get the “suggestions” to listen to other artists I. The middle of your moment this is quite literally the only app I’ve run into that did not force a agenda down my throat. The option to have other “like” artists is an option, but not the standard. The premium membership also allows you to have three devices connected. I’m keeping it and very pleased.Show lessAV013

So Tool I’m Hi Def is awesome. iTunes Tool is garbage. Same with Offspring and everything. Fixes the problem of garbage audio being given to the consumer because the consumer doesn’t know this is available. It should not be premium to run lossless but if no one else is really doing it it’s worth it. Audio quality can be good and affordable. People that care get this app. The sound quality is CD+. Streaming through my Bose Headphones car and home speakers make a perfect compliment to my vinyl. Also the algorithm is nice enough to notice the important stuff.Show lessMCBSE
Cheap Company!!
I got a free trial to use this app back in August and very quickly realized it doesn’t come close to Apple Music so I deleted the App. Before doing so I made sure to check my subscriptions to make sure my free trial doesn’t turn into a paid one, but I didn’t see anything so I thought I was all good. After months of having the App deleted I find out I’m somehow getting charged for this. I message customer support cause this cheap company doesn’t even have a phone service and they tell me they can’t do anything to refund me. They tell me I should’ve known to go to my Deezer account to cancel my subscription. I’m a college student who has been laid off from work facing a financial nightmare during this pandemic and they simply don’t care. THEY SIMPLY DON’T CARE!! If a company doesn’t show sympathy in a time like this they’re simply MONSTERS. Thank you for taking money from a financially struggling student. Update, I spoke to customer service again after receiving a comment to my review that they care. They only refunded me one month. ONE MONTH! I’m sure they can check my account usage and see I haven’t touched the service since August but they only care enough for one month. Stay away from this MONEY HUNGRY APP, they don’t believe in customer service. I hope the money you stole from me was worth it! Since the demise of Google Play Music, we’ve been shopping around for a good music player app. Deezer has come highly recommended, but there’s one design flaw that I just can’t get around. I am home full time and like to stream my music to my TV or other player. When it finishes playing my selected album, it starts playing other, random music from the same or similar artists. Even if I set the album to repeat, it STILL plays other music and albums. I want it to stop playing all together over choosing music for me. If I want a radio station inspired by a specific artist, I’ll use Pandora. Because I am currently using a variety of players right now, I’ve also noticed Deezer is less intuitive than other platforms at finding music based on my search credentials. For example, if I want to listen to Christmas music from a certain artist, it will only bring up albums that specifically have “Christmas” in the album title, not all of their holiday music. Just today I wanted to listen to an album called “Christmastime” by Michael W Smith. I typed “Michael W Smith Christmas” in the search field and it wouldn’t bring up the album 🤷🏻♀️ I had to go through his albums to find it.Show lesslpbennett

I thought deezer would finally be the app I could use, but nope. First of all, I thought the skips were for ads. NOT for the actual songs. I was trying to listen to LiSA but there were all sorts of different artists in a playlist for one of her album’s playlist that are only supposed to have HER songs. Not some other artists songs. The ads, app design and audio quality were the only things that were actually good about his app. AND when you want to listen to that certain song, and you don’t have enough “skips” then you simply can’t listen to it! You either listen to some song you’ve never heard before, or you listen to nothing. You need “premium” to listen to it. I know the app needs money, but it’s simply not very practical. I would have added ads every 2 songs Instead of 3, and used the skips to skip ads instead.Show lessN.Y.O.P-YT

Love everything about this app!! Unbelievable quality with high end headphones, beautiful colorful and easy to use app with awesome features, love being to fade out the music to blend the ends and beginnings of songs together, makes everything feel just that like you’re in ur own music world! 360 audio needs work but I got this app for the higher quality music and for how beautiful the app layout and everything is! Love the flow features and literally everything about this app! Can’t say good enough! My only pet peeve is if you choose the premium app and pay though Apple you have to wait 1 month until you can upgrade to Deezer hifi or make a new account witch takes time finding music again and getting everything back but other then that app is perfect!Show lessN8te🌙
Very good other than promised skips
For the most part I love Deezer. It works very well. The only minor thing is I wish you could just download single songs instead of whole albums. My major complaint that bugs me is when your paying it says unlimited skips. Well the skips freeze and that gets me very frustrated. If that’s a tech prob it needs to get fixed. Don’t offer somn when ppl are paying and then not have it. I get very irritated when I basically have to restart my music and hit a diff shuffle button cause the skip freezes and think what the heck I’m paying for this. I would have given it four stars with a minor concern of single song downloads if not for the false skip advertisement as of now cause skip works so many times.Show lessCapnpirate

When I downloaded this app, I was really happy because I could FINALLY be able to play music offline. I’m not sure how long I downloaded this app but now I have to get premium to be able to continue listening to music offline. Is anyone getting the same problem?? I logged in for Deezer Free and not other subscriptions. So then why do I need to get premium? I thought this app was free for listening offline and didn’t require to get premium if you wanted to.. Please fix this!. I’m sure that other people can’t pay a month for offline music. So please let everyone listen to music freely. Many people would rate this 5 stars if they could listen to music for free without getting premium. But hey, you don’t have to change it, just my opinion because I thought I finally found an app for me to play music offline since I don’t have internet when I’m out.Show lessbtslover_1

I really enjoy this service, I have the student discount and this service is absolutely amazing. My problem is coming I. Two forms. For one, I can’t change my email, I’ve searched Deezer Support but haven’t found a way to change it (I don’t have access to the email anymore). And two, I keep getting artists that I’ve ask not to be suggested in my Flow quite a few times. Thanks for also not pushing an agenda, I appreciate being able to listen to my music without interruptions.Show lessOis W

let’s get to it:
the feedback from this app is terrible. it doesn’t respond to taps instantly and there’s long halts between ‘skipping’, ‘liking a track’, etc. it’s quite frustrating.
there’s something undeniably worse than poor feedback in an app, and that is, poor ability to adapt. the amount of times i have selected “don’t play this artist” for chr*s brown and others and it continues to recommend his songs—duly irritating. sometimes the “flow” option is spot-on but more than anything the algorithm adheres to the same songs over and over.
last but not least, there is fake artist listings. truly insulting to music artists to combine their discography and give them poor recognition, perhaps even improper streams. i’ve only seen this with smaller artists such as BIBI. the one i listen to is korean, but the one she’s listed under is merged between a latin artist. please fix your app to properly distinguish music artists from one another.
personally, i only use this app because i have a free trial. no other reason.Show lesskalicchi
