Fascinating. I was always frustrated with world facts such as population when I was growing up because the reading material was never current with constantly changing numbers. Having relatively "more current" world stats at your finger tips is wonderfully.

Very useful and well made app! Current government info, which side of the road people drive on(!!!), geographical information, economic stuff, calling codes, age demographics etc. are all there. Transnational issues section is especially interesting(at least for me). The flag view with the flag description is wonderful and interesting. I love flags. Well made app, don't hesitate to buy this. Very useful and well made app. Current government info, country background, which side of the road people drive on(!!), economic stuff, geographical information, calling codes, age demographics etc. are all there. Works fine without an active internet connection which is a big plus.
UPDATE: I don't agree with the previous reviewer. The addition of the offline map in the new version was a great idea. It is a zoomable (down to city level) world atlas with regions, lakes, rivers, major cities, deserts etc. Works super-fast without an active internet connection. I believe this app is an absolute MUST for anyone who has some interest in other parts of the world. Now when I hear the name of a country I know little or nothing about, I can enjoy referring to the Factbook not only for its location but historical, geographic and political background and a lot more (income, population, religions, climate, urbanization, languages, life expectancy etc). Holy sh** this app is great. It's super fast and great for exploring both well-known And obscure countries. I love how it is often written in a very understandable way and contains more information than I expected.
