Perfect App For What I Needed
I needed to download a conversation that I had into a format where I can sort and edit. I checked out several apps but this was the only one that actually did that. The programmer, Patrizio, was very helpful. Definitely a good buy.EddieDFW
Does what it says on the tin
How great is that! This APP is simple, straightforward and assumes little prior knowledge. It takes you step by step through the process of transferring readable sms messages to a PC. And quick too.windsorlass
Good app, did the job
Update- had to use it again after a few years. Got stuck but emailed and received help, got it working. This is a great app for exporting text messages and the developer is very helpful
I found this app on a google search and decided even to try it even though it was a bit more than I wanted to pay for it. I had difficulty working it but emailed for help and received a speedy reply and a link to a helpful video.

iCloud Users Beware!!
If you use iCloud to back up your phone, then don’t waste your money on this app!! For the app to work, you have to back up your entire phone to iTunes.
If you have a phone with lots of memory (mine has 120 GB), then you better make sure that you have enough disk space on your laptop for the backup.Show lessOptimumCrazy
User friendly
I’ve used other apps that do the same thing, this one is by far more user friendly and I don’t need to go back to the FAQs to try to figure out how to export my texts. Well worth the $4.99. As long as you follow the directions of downloading then it’s very simple. I like how you can choose the contact, date ranges, how to sort them, and what kind of file to save as. PDF is not an option but I exported as HTML then from there exported as a PDF from my Mac. Would definitely recommend!Show lessKalynn K
Great app
Needed to find something in a text from about a year ago, and I didn’t want to scroll through 20,000 texts looking for it. This app basically gave me a text file with the date of every text and I was able to find what I was looking for in minutes rather than scrolling back for hours on end looking for it. Requires backup to iTunes
Waste of money. Very few people back up their iPhones to their computer as the iPhone now has a huge storage capacity, and it’s MUCH more efficient to backup to iCloud. If you back up to iCloud and are unable to back up to your computer due to not having a hundred gigs of available space on it, you cannot use this app.
And by the way, this is not an actual phone app. The “app” is just a single page with instructions on how to use the free desktop app. You can activate the desktop app just by entering the first word found on the phone “app” info screen. Anyone can just enter that word, which is “QUICK” to activate the free desktop app.
