Please update for better resolution and add a dark mode! Also I'm even willing to pay $.99 or $1.99 a year to give rid of the HORRIBLE ads you have. Hello, we have terminated the third-party ad network that was serving those takeover ads (these are usually the result of rogue advertisers, not the ad network themselves). Please give the site another try as we've eliminated the issue. Also, if you can, please edit your review accordingly. Thank you!Acting weird
This app is acting weird. As I am reading a article it automatically sends me
to the App Store.
Then today a warning pops up saying my phone has been affected with a virus. I clicked ok and the app went blank. Just happen so now I hope there is no issues and it was just nothing.KonaBoy
Annoying ads
While I've loved MDNs content, this app, including their website, has the worst ads implementation. Ads auto redirecting to App Store, and when returning, continues to redirect. Today's ad produced a pop up that started "your iPhone may have been infected while browsing! ...", then redirected to App Store. I am moving on to using another Apple news site as a result!!Show lessscrufmeister
Redirects to buy Malware
I want to love this app but I find it constantly redirecting me automatically to the App Store to buy Malware. Why does Mac Daily News allow this to happen? Please fix.MaikSeattle
Was great but now it's adware.
I used MacDaily News for all of my Mac/Apple news. But now it's become so heavily in ad use it has become unusable. I tired to use the app but keeps taking me to the App Store to promote another app. After several attempts I had enough. Intrusive ads! Unbearable!
Hey guys you made the app useless ever since these ads force open the App Store every couple of seconds when in the article. What the use of the news app if you can't read the news being interrupted as you go. Fix it please.

Crash & Burn.
Getting better. Fewer crashes.
Just tried to post. Ha the app kept randomly stopping me from finishing. Moving me out of the comment box and unselected. Tapping right back in made it jump right back out. I give up. 🙄
Deleted and installed again. Restarted and cleared app cache. No luck. Maybe MDN App doesn't play well with 10.3
It sure saved me some space by upgrading. 👍🏻
First Mac site or App I go to. But it's getting harder to keep it up. The ads are just to much. Ad blocker kicks you out if installed on macOS. I get it they need ads. But it's just to many. If they weren't flashing and blinking I might actually patronize them. And also the redirects!! That is so annoying to just get moved to the App Store showing me a game? I never wanted to see!
So I just use the built in ad remover declutter feature.
3 ½ horizontal lines in the URL bar. . . Name of feature escapes me.

At one point, MDN was my go-to site for Apple news, and their app was decent.
The site as a whole has become more and more political, obviously run by far-right fanatics who drool over Trump every chance they can manufacture.
I could ignore that, but the ads on the app are completely obnoxious. While in the middle of reading an article, video ads will repeatedly pop up and take over your screen, without any touching of the screen on your part.
Skip it. Just go to Macrumours, AppleInsider, or another site via browser and leave MDN for the far-right ad lovers.Show lessscc89
