  • Critical bugs and deceptive design

Attempted to order a card and pay via Apple Pay - payment went through but then the card failed to upload. Money was taken from my account but there was no way to re-upload the card - I was just taken back to a draft state. I tried this again and experienced the same issue before realising I was actually being charged despite my order not processing. Have reached out for a refund but not heard back yet.

Also worth noting - I find this app very deceptive - full of dark pattern designs and upsells. I wonder how many people have been deceived into purchasing a subscription they don’t actually want? I understand the need to make money in a competitive category but this app makes it difficult to just simply order a single card with out accidentally paying for more than you need to.

  • Delivery time disappointing

When it takes longer than a week to receive a single card, it’s very disappointing. Upfront timing and in app tracking should be available. It really shouldn’t take longer than a day to print out a card that was already made. They shouldn’t take longer than a week for the person to get it from the time of printing, this is hugely disappointing.

  • boooo

price goes up every year and credits expire. i won't be subscribing again
  • Great Postcard app when travelling and for sending greeting cards.

I have used this app since 2013 and although I enjoyed using it then, I love the improvements. I can write more now and family and friends appreciate getting personal photos. It's so easy to send off a photo when you have time and not worry about looking for a post office. I had a recent problem with a postcode to another country and emailed the help support. Received a prompt reply which I didn't expect as I am on the other side of the world. My problem was solved. Thanks Touchnote.

  • Do not trust!

How this company has a 4.5+ star average is beyond me.

Offered a one month trial. There was no notice of the trial ending and the subscription did not appear in my Apple subscriptions, yet my Apple Pay was charged without permission. Whatever.

I was then informed that if I cancelled my subscription, I would not only forfeit the annual fee but also lose the credits I had paid for.

So I use the app. Occasionally with great results but I would estimate 50% of cards would either arrive weeks later, be printed poorly (using good quality images), or flat out not sent with no notice the job had been cancelled.

Customer service was terrible. Gaslighted by them saying that I hadn’t uploaded the card correctly (which the user obviously does not do) and offered two free cards (I wanted the one that I had purchased for my wife’s birthday to be delivered on time instead).

Finally, on cancellation I clicked the link to cancel membership, to a message saying that they are unable to cancel. Waiting for the next week to see if my Apple Pay is charged again as I am unable to remove the payment method from the app.

I implore you, find another way. It’s a great concept but a morally corrupt business.

  • Credits Expire w/o Knowledge

I really do love using this app as a way to keep in touch with my nieces BUT I do not agree with credits expiring after a short time of receiving them. Sometimes life happens and you cannot use the credits every month. I bought into a promotional plan that allowed me a certain number of credits this year. I did not read the small print in the Terms & Conditions that the credits expired which is on me BUT, they could have added this information when I was first advertised to buy into the promotion. On the app, no where mentions the credits expiring with the exception of looking through the credit history. I would have still bought into the deal if I knew the credits expired and planned every month to use credits so I didn’t feel like I was wasting my money. This makes me feel that the company is solely for profit and wanting to bank on their consumers not reading the fine print so they can squeeze out extra dollars instead of building this convenient app that helps keep loved ones in touch.
Most likely I will be trying out other companies that are out there once I use my last credits.

  • Cards not actually sent!

I was all about this time saving option for getting out birthday cards, thank you cards, etc. but this feels like such a scam anymore. Time and time again I’m ordering cards that aren’t being posted on time, or if they are, the estimated delivery date goes from an expected date based upon the time frame they give for posting, to something weeks away. If that’s not bad enough, they don’t provide any tracking information, and I’ve subsequently come to learn that NO ONE IS ACTUALLY RECEIVING THE CARDS. I’m furious. Customer service is blaming USPS or making excuses about why that can’t possibly be correct, not actually resolving the issue. This service is a high price point that doesn’t save time since your cards arrive a month late, if at all, and I have to chase down whether the recipient receives anything. Its embarrassing and a waste of my time. I’m not a complainer and usually let things slide, but after nearly a year of nonsense and insufficient customer service responses, I’m really feeling like this is a scam. They don’t allow partial refunds, only extra credits to send more cards (that probably won’t actually be received)! So I’m stuck finishing this subscription out and simply losing my money. Argh.

  • Getting started again

I’ve used this app previously for sending postcards when away travelling.
Tonight it didn’t seem as easy as I remember it. Hopefully that was just me trying to get started again and once I am away on my trip it will become easier. My grandchildren are excited about getting postcards from around the world.

  • If they follow through, it would be a good product.

I ordered a couple of cards, and I liked how they looked on the app, so I went ahead and paid for an annual subscription, as well as an upgrade to get a handful of cards out for Christmas. The cards were processed on December 21 – slated to arrive by December 28 or so. Less than half of the orders arrived before the first of the year, the rest to close to five weeks to arrive, and I’m still not even sure if they were all received.

They fought me tooth and nail when I told them how bad and unreliable their services and offered me a refund, or extended a credit on the cars that never got processed, blaming the Postal Service. I decided to keep the service, and sent a few more cards, and so far, nothing is arriving on the schedule.

I don’t know if I need a four week lead time time, but for the most part, it seems unreliable that anything will arrive. The only ones that arrived promptly were the ones I had sent to myself to physically had to people. Which is pathetic.

Sorry to hear about this delay. We post orders within one working day. Unfortunately, we can't control final delivery. We offer a free replacement for each card that gets delayed/not delivered, right from the app. And always try to find a way to make this right for our users. For further assistance, please let us know through help@touchnote.com -Thank you
  • Warning ~ Hard no on this App

Just wanted to take a minute to review my experience with TouchNote. Came across it and I thought what an amazing idea and I absolutely loved it and jumped right on. Within the first week I think I sent five or six Postcards and was so excited to have my loved ones received. I also sent one to our home address for my husband. Well unfortunately after friends not receiving them or one arriving here, I contact TouchNote and they told me it’s out of their hands as they come from different locations. I had to contact them several more times before my friends were able to receive them and even re-ordered one for my husband. The ones For my friends did eventually make it there but the one for my husband did not make it here even after two times of being sent according to them. Again, love the concept, unfortunately they completely failed to deliver properly
