I use this app a lot and not only does it do port scanning very well, it supports ping, traceroute and wake on LAN. Wake on LAN is also configurable as different manufactures use different ports for wake on LAN. I don't have to leave my desktop PC running all the time. I can wake it up over VPN, use rdp, and control my desktop at home. It works great for this. Features it needs: If you do a new scan, it tosses all the old information away. It would be nice to save off MAC and IP addresses. You can email the entire scan report, but it would be helpful to hold some of the info in the app. It should allow you to enter a MAC address manually for WoL. Lastly, native iPad would be cool. I still give it 5 stars though. It is a well done and helpful app.Show lessjprall
Unbelievably useful.
Easily finds all the active IP addresses and active services and open ports. Messes with Symantec's Firewall service, sets off the intruder protection blocking but still returns the data. This is as powerful as our rather expensive port scanner/discovery tool and is a free app. Props to Scanny. Well worth the download if only to test your protection.Show lessTW024
