No fun with protection 1
If all you want is a remote Keypad then it's great. If you want to control your system, added users, find out who logged into the building at 1am, well that's another story, I would recommend HONEYWELL try to use there own system and them go back to programming school and come up with an app that is useful, sorry it's 3am and I'm venting having to pull up my laptop to find out that P1 was giving me false time stamps and I thought an employee was entering the building without authorization? Then I see all the bugs I don't like a I start to vent!!!

Good but some issues
This app is a great way for me to be able to arm/disarm my system or to check on its status.
That said there is no reason for the app to take as long as it does to load. I often use the app like a key fob remote and it takes several minutes to connect.
The other thing that I would to be different is I that keys should show which button you pushed better

Works now that…...
The APP works great now that I downloaded the most recent version. I was never notified that there was a update.
No video
I have an optiflex Protection One e-secure account with video capability. I am able to view video on computers and mobile devices, except through this app. The log in works for remote access to the keypad which works GREAT!! If you think the video is what you are getting the app for, DONT!! I have yet to see anyones app provide the video as claimed or shown in the app teaser photos. I have realoaded the app several times with no luck. Think no video and this will be a good app.

Functional but Barely
This app is functional but barely.. It can handle the basic functions of arming and disarming, however it takes an extremely long time to login. Not something I want to rely on for my home security. I am not even using the IP camera functions of the system and it still takes forever to connect. This app also could benefit from higher resolution graphics for both the icon and the User interface.

Crap
It worked the first time I logged in, after the long process of getting it set up online, but it hasn't worked since. I would expect ProtectionOne to do a little bit better job on an app before releasing it. I hope they protect our place of business better than they create apps, it is truly garbage..

Very slow
This is a good idea. It worked great for the first two days and now it's or miss if it connects. Not good I'm disappointed needs to be faster and more reliable.
Dont rate the program bad because your a moron
You can create multiple users, each individual users can add two different cell phones each. So if you have a family of four you can have up to 8 different cell phones (iphones) to control the system. You can add ipads and ipod touches really easily and they don't even count against your two cell devices. Once you have configured an iphone down load the app on your ipad/ipod and use the same information you used to activate your phone on the ipad/Ipod......your done. The trick use your cell number on the ipad/ipod (yes even though it is not a phone) it wont matter all your doing is verifying the device is supposed to have access to your home/business alarm. With the 3gIpad you can use it if you have cell coverage. With the Ipad/ipod you can use it only if you have wifi.

Oh I will agree that the log in is a little slow, which I am sure will be updated in the future this is still relatively new technology.

App is slow
App runs a little slower than I would like, and not sure if this connects directly to my system or through a service that controls my system. Would like to see feature to push message to keypad from phone and alert notifications on security breach via SMS. Just got it today so I will keep kicking the tires on this one

SLOWWWWWW
iPhone 4 - it's great when it works. It's so slow to connect though, if it ever does. Basically makes the app useless when u spend 10 minutes trying 2 connect & still FAIL
