I love this app
I love these remixs but the ads are bit annoying and why do you have to pay for ad free and paying for he original song is really annoying

I've had SoundCloud for years now but I realized I never left a review yet. SoundCloud truly was and is a magical place for music, all the biggest modern rap/hip hop artists got their start from SoundCloud (lil pump, lil skies, lil peep, 21 savage, Suicideboy$, the list goes on!) not only is the environment of the app "creation", but it's also a well made app. I used multiple music softwares/apps so I can get every song I need but I truly wish every app would take notes from SoundCloud. (PLEASE NEVER CHANGE THIS ABOUT THE APP!!) but it allows you to put your phone on sleep mode while music still plays, you have to pay a monthly premium fee to other apps to be able to do that! I've been loyal to SoundCloud even if l use other apps (you should always seek out new music on both SoundCloud and elsewhere!) you really can't go wrong trying it, you'll end up finding tons of music that's great yet you had no idea about beforehand. Nothing but praise on my end! Stay true to yourselves SoundCloud and never change up because society tells you you should! SoundCloud invented their own collective consciousness and has gave hundreds their start into making music!

Had since 2013. Much love but It needs work
Been using this app since i was hella young. And what i can say is the best part about the app is the people that make music on it, and the fact that anyone can make music on it. The Ui is often glitchy and we just recently in 2024 became able to open and send dms on mobile. That is just embarrassing. We should have had that feature a decade ago, but they’ve put in the minimum work. Not much has changed since then. The “next up” feature is silly and should be replaced by a full QUEUE for multiple songs. That’s the end of my complaints as a listener. As an artist, it’s even crummier. 148$ paid in full for a year of pro unlimited. The promotion tools the app says i “don’t have access to” are limited. The monetization often doesn’t work with no explanation why. And the extra storage (the reason why i bought it) is not at all proportionate to the price. It also doesn’t even include go+. This app has a beautiful culture and community, but the team behind it has always seemed inactive and lazy, save for very recently they’re fixing the dms and such. I hope it gets better from here and you listen to us

you have a really good app but quit it with the ads
Every single time I go to search a song And go to listen to it to make sure it’s the song I want it plays a freaking add I understand that you need to have adds but not I add every three songs it’s becoming very annoying specially when I’m going to put new songs in my playlist it takes up so much more time it’s just not worth it and I’m now thinking about deleting the app sound cloud and finding a new app for my music

Not able to check maps while add is on , It sucks while driving

Great app, I use the free version in addition to my mainstream streaming service to access music that is otherwise inaccessible. Frustrating when I want to add tracks to playlists that the interface focuses more on aesthetics than function, usually when I want to add music to a playlist I often want to add it to two or more. The way it currently works takes several seconds to fade in or out. Other than that I love the app!

A platform in decline for its users
Having been a subscriber and user for many years, I can honestly say that Soundcloud is getting worse to the point that it is failing paying customers on a regular basis. As well as several disruptions to the insights reporting over the last 12 months, the app is now even worse to use than ever. Stats and insights displayed offscreen so it’s now impossible to read the graphs accurately. How accurate are they anyway? The answer, not very as I have conducted experiments where the plays do not pull through when made outside of the app. Considering the amount of money I pay for this service and the lack of appropriate support, care and compensation Soundcloud provide, I now have no option but to have to waste my time looking for an alternative provision for my music business as Soundcloud no longer serves my needs. Sadly, it’s a real shame Soundcloud do not seem to care! Their AI centred approach to customer support is also a disaster!

Remix sensation
Having REMIX tracks playing on auto is the best thing! Especially when i have no idea what the original names are on most until i hear it play. Sweet albums made specifically for my taste based on play history is a plus for me as well due to ease and timesaving. The discover factor is a big presence on this app. Tracks i never thought id be into became some of my listened to 👍 oh and the ads? They’re not bad at all. The “hey dads…” has become a little ice-breaker on family drives 😉
