Hidden balance makes app unusable
Not long ago, they added a hidden balance feature that makes every process with the app take 2 to 3 more clicks. They need to make it optional in the settings and I’m actually thinking about switching banks to another that has a function that’s more convenient. The main thing I want to see when I open my app is what my balance is and the fact that I have to go between my accounts and click see Balance again, and again is really really stupid.

No pending or wallet transactions
I have an iphone app and after the recent app updates I can’t see pending transactions (e.g. transfers) or apple wallet transactions. Wallet transactions appear after several days. Nightmare

App fails to open
Ever since the last update, I have not been able to access my app to make payments on my bills. Very concerning. I’ve tried deleting the app and re-downloading, but nothing works.

App does not work on new iPhone 14
I have had this app on my previous iPhone for a few years. Since I have changed to iPhone 14 the app says I am offline when that is not the case. I can only access my account on the web version unfortunately.
App stopped working since update
Ever since the last major update the app just reports "connect problems". This is going on since November 5.

Most useless bank you could imagine!
Trying to get a transfer done is harder than getting blood from a stone. When you try to call them, you have to be on hold for 30 minutes plus.
At this point I question the legitimacy of this bank, there’s 2K+ that this bank have manage to fumble so now the transferee is having to make a claim back from their bank.
Word of warning… Use another more trustworthy bank to avoid having these issues.

Face ID implementation broken
After 6 months of working great, this app won’t even load, saying “your equipment isn’t in compliance with the manufacturer’s definitions [or other security aspects]”. This is a stock iPhone 11 Pro, unaltered. Helpline say Apple “can reset it”. PC Clinic did a settings reset, didn't help. Next step is apparently to wipe the whole phone and start again.
Meanwhile apps for BPI, Barclays etc etc using Face ID are all fine.
Now I have a phone with wiped wifi passwords etc etc and still no AB app. What a waste of time.
