Unresponsive and kept over $4,000

I used Eventbrite to manage a paid event on Nov 2. When I tried to withdraw my money, they suspended my account for suspicious activity. I have spoken to their live chat twice, sent multiple emails, and they always have the same response that I need to change my password. As soon as I change my password, they lock the account and start the whole process over. I am considering legal action because it is thousands of dollars that they are keeping, and I need this money in order to pay my event staff. Absolutely horrible company, horrible service. STEER CLEAR!

Organiser

Organiser is a great app for managing event check-ins and keeping track of your guest list.

However, it lacks some basic functions. There's no simple option to share your event with potential participants, not even under the 'sell' tab. Additionally, there's no way to contact guests or reschedule. Hopefully, these features will be added in the future!

Latest version is worse

In the latest app update, when you scan a QR code, the name of the person who’s ticket you just scanned doesn’t show up anymore making it harder to greet attendees. I used to be able to scan, see the person’s name who I just scanned and say β€œhi John! Welcome!” which adds an extra layer of comfort to attendees. Now I have no idea who’s who out of the people whose tickets I scan.

Too limited

Way too limited as far as options compared to the web version

Hey Ricky! We recognize that some of the functionalities on the website are not available on the app. The app is best suited for your at-event needs such as scanning ticket and ticket sales at the door. We hear your feedback and will share it with our team.

Problem with the percentages sold being incorrect

This is an ongoing problem and is still not fixed. The percentage wheel that shows how many tickets sold is inaccurate. When no tickets are sold it sometimes shows 100% sold or 60% sold when zero tickets have sold. Despite constant complaints to Eventbrite about this as an organiser, this problem is still not fixed.

Hi! Thank you for pointing this out. This is happening in certain cases. We have shared the feedback with team and the fix shall be available soon.

Less useless than before

I’m updating my review. The app has got better, but still has annoying UX oversights. The worst is that when you open an event to look at or check-in attendees it is impossible to move back the event series of dates. Instead are forced to go back to the dashboard and then re-navigate all the way back to your event - only then can you select the date to want. This makes you wonder if Eventbrite spent anytime actually testing the app?

Can’t I just get a link to my event?

You would think for an organizer app, it would have a convenient way for you to access & share the link to the event. It’s great for sales on site, but not great for promoting the event for an online audience. I would love more of the functionality of the web organizer page, at the very least an easy way for me to access the links to each of my different events or edit my event. If someone has tips for where I can find that feature, that would be great.

This is great for viewing the dashboard

I love the quick reference ability with this app but there are some more capabilities I wish were available. I’d love to be able to re-schedule repeating events or cancel from my phone. Overall I love how convenient it is though!

It’s like having access to a 24hr finacial PA

When I can direct my ticket sales traffic to eventbrite it allows me time to concentrate of other areas of the event. πŸ‘πŸΎIt’s like having a dedicated Finacial PA on 24hr call.

Not user-friendly

I realize that once I publish my event, it seems impossible to do edits. I can barely see ticket sales.

Response from developer

Hi Cooksvilleguy, please use the website to edit events. The app is designed for checkins, at the door ticket sales, onsite dashboard and viewing orders. Thank you.
