  • Good but no perfect.

Been using for years and generally it’s good. But you get periods where only the road you are on is showing, so it’s hard to navigate when you can’t use other roads you pass as land marks. It does sometimes take you the long way around also, but it’s a cheap app and as said, generally it’s good.
  • Be careful

This app is only for Australia and New Zealand.
  • Rubbish

    No GPS, clunky. Avoid.
  • Right on Top!

The more you compare this superb Navigational tool the greater you appreciate it! It is the most accurate, reliable, dependable, current and user friendly road Nav aid I have ever come across..and I have seen all..so don’t bother telling me there is another one close. I would blindly recommend this tool to anyone!

  • Perfect

i have bit of hesitation purchasing this product. It is may be the price tag force me to buy it. I did. I won't be looking any other navigation system any more.I have already put a side my Tom Tom portable from my car. It is a great product. Australian accent. Quick enought to re calculation. The only dons is when you connect to phone thru to aux you can not talk to incoming caller from the system.I hope next upgrade will solve this problem.

  • CarPlay needed

This is by far the best navigation system I have used just wish I could incorporate it into Apple CarPlay. It would save me so much grief when I travel to different cities where speed limits continually change - very stressful watching the routes and the speedo.

    Developer Response

CarPlay is now supported in the latest update.
  • My favourite!

I have been using MV for many years. In that time, I’ve had a number of Garmin devices and also a couple of Nissan built-in dash GPS, which required one to outlay approx $350 for a map update!

I keep coming back to MV. It is my preferred GPS App. Google is good and so is Apple Maps. They both have their benefits. But MV, with its speed and camera alerts, is gold and closest to a complete package. It very seldom gets its directions confused and I have found it both reliable and stable. Spoken directions are clear and easy to follow. The maps are regularly updated by the Developer, FOC! It is a bargain for its modest purchase price. Highly recommended!

  • Better than Garmin

I’m in Brisbane at the moment.
Needed to get to the airport early this morning and used Garmin which managed to get me lost trying to find the after hours rental car return park. Round and round we went.
Opened MetroView and immediately got concise instructions which took me right there.
For Aussie and NZ this will be my GPS of choice.

  • Excellent GPS

This is the best GPS App I have come across. When travelling I have used TomTom (Useless) Google Maps (Great but no speeds indicator). On our recent 6,000 km wonderful holiday MetroView was our saviour, although with roadworks updates, there was conflicting speed limit reminders. But hopefully this has now been updated.

Best of all, you do not have to be connected to the internet for the GPS to function. Brilliant!

  • 2 preview of future turns instead of one

I've been using this app for some years now, very good app, helps me alot, the view is great however needs some improvement on the turns, what am saying is if you are able to see your next 2 future turns when driving, it will help with lane selection and improve driving, instead of switching lanes after a turn left or right especially when it's a double lane left turn😀
