  • Soild as a rock

I purchased MetroView over 5 years ago when finally deciding to stop using UBD's and have been an extremely happy user over that time. It's been my navigator for all places new and it is accurate and easy to use. The app is proudly home grown, there are map database updates at least 4 times per year, the maps cover all of Oz & NZ and the app runs without needing to access your data unlike most others on the market. I've raved about the app for years to everyone I know and highly recommend it.

  • Best offline navigation

MetroView is still the best offline GPS navigation app for driving around Australian streets. It is head and shoulders above the competition in functionality, accuracy, ease of use and cost.

If, like me, you use Apple Maps for most of your day to day GPS needs, I still strongly recommend MetroView for those times when you don’t have a good mobile signal or you need POI information without having to switch between apps. It is also very useful for planning trips and for comparing routes with Apple Maps or Google Maps to pick the best path.

MetroView is well worth having on your phone.

  • Best navigation for the dollers

I have moved to Melbourne for six years now and this navigation has saved me so many times I have a brand-new car with inbuilt navigation and this navigation is better and more up-to-date best you could use for the value thank you.
  • BEST GPS

This is the best and cheapest GPS you will ever buy. If you purchase the live traffic updates (about $25 a year) it will update your trip and guide you around the traffic/accident spots, EXCELLENT. I've been driving in Sydney and suburbs due to work for 25 years, 15 years of those whilst being an NRMA patrolman.
I've owned it for many years and have told all my friends and family to purchase, they all love it. Any time I've given feedback re glitches via email to developers, they have emailed me back and thanked me and fixed the glitches (very few over my 8 years of owning this app)
5 👍👍👍👍👍 up from me. Keep up the great work.

  • Best $12 I spent on my Australia trip!

Yes, it really does turn your phone into a GPS even without a data connection. Saved me a bunch of money not having to rent GPS units from rental car companies.

The app has its quirks - the user interface isn't very intuitive and takes a while to master. Speed limits in the app frequently did not match the posted numbers. Some locations of stores and restaurants in the app's data base are out of date. And the app once tried to tell me to drive my car on a bike trail. But the thing worked 99% of the time and was only $12 - a huge bargain. Now will you please develop a similar app for North America? Please?!?

  • Excellent

Still a great app, gets better with each release. Have used more expensive programs, used dedicated gps. This is still my favorite. Can't find it, use the google integration.
  • Crap

The worse system you can purchased!
  • no lane assistance

Somehow I am not seeing any lane assistance in this app in my iphone4. Rest is pretty good in the app.
  • Excellent Sat Nav App

Fantastic App. Much better than my stand alone Garmin with better functionality. Puts stand alones to shame. Its much better at speed zones and the school zones are also pick up on which is fantastic. The google search facility is invaluable as well.
  • Awesome update and Service

There was a small (but vital to me) mistake in a local map image. I reported this to the Dev Team, who promised a fix with the next update. That arrived today along with my map fixed. What great service for an inexpensive option in this category.
