  • Great little app but...

Works as promised but I'd have two suggestions…
    1) - an option to switch to a digital-style numerical display.
    2) - an ad' free version that users have to pay for, I know I would happily pay for it to be ad free.
Oh, an an iPad version would be cool too.

Very good app, just a bit blant around the meter
  • Works great on iPhone 5

Compared it to a high end db meter and it was with in a 3 db range of my phone. It seems to be closer to a db-c metering style.
  • Ok

It is ok but compared to others it is a little of not much though only 10-20db so just have to remember of course it might be my mic on my iPod
  • Update please!!!

It comes up 90db when it's really supposed to be around 60db on the iPhone 5 because it has another speaker so plz fix it
  • Mad little dB reader!!!

Works pretty good so far, i haven't tested it against an industrial/comercial grade device but it looks pretty good for a freeby! No wonder truckies lose their hearing after many years on the road! My kenworth cab measures 90-95dB under load!!! I've read that constant exposure to 80-85dB can cause hearing loss.... What did ya say mate???

  • Decibel debacle

App crashes every time it's opened. Doesn't appear to do anything but crash. To add to that, its icon doesn't show up anywhere on the iPad so there's no way of getting rid of it! Real waste of time.
  • Useful, Straight-forward Sound App

One screen with an analog decibel meter. The steel background looks nice, the needle animation is smooth & realistic. Accurate enough for basic readings.

I wish it had a retina display icon.

Also, I'd be glad to pay for an Ad-Free version.

    Thanks, and God bless!
  • Does what it says

Measures the db level almost perfectly
  • Thanks!

For people who know what a decibel is and want a quick reading subject to the limitations of an iPhone microphone, this is awesome—it does one thing and it does it with elegance and simplicity.
