Accurate & Right Price
For those who said that this app is not accurate, pls re-read your definition of dB. A "quiet" room is 30-40dB. A whisper is 50dB. "Noisy" is 85+dB. This FREE app is accurate and awesome. Kudos to the developer. Yes, it could flip when you flip the phone around; it doesn't. So what?! A+CJGlynn

Those of you silly folks who gave this app one or two stars need to google how decibels work and what sounds are measured at. For instance a whisper is 30 db. Normal conversation is around 60 to 80 db. Sounds shouldn't be more than 85db to protect your hearing. This app runs pretty close to accurate. It's gets five stars from me because it's free and looks nice! Worth the space on your device.Show lessiam9099
Not bad for free!!
Measured it up against my SmaartLive software and it was about 3-4dB above what was registering through the professional industry tool! And those who said it reads 40-50dB in a quiet room; thats normal, not innaccurateMatt Ruggiero
Not even close to being accurate
iPhone 4 w/iOS 4.1 indicates 79 dB in my vehicle without the radio on and A/C fan on low. Actual dB is more like 63. A calibration "trim" adjustment would be a big plus.WAvara
Used to work
This app used to work but now it just crashes. I've tried opening and closing, hard restarts, and uninstalling and reinstalling and it just crashes.Diesel N14
On what device?
Please, app description-ers; list what devices this app will work with at the beginning of the description. I have iPod touch but many descriptions don't include it even tho it would work fine and does by the way.Bobbiroger
No longer working
I updated to IOS5 on iPad and the app no longer works.
This is unfortunate because I really liked it and it was very useful.
I tried deleting the app and reinstalling but still no functionality and it exits!!
Can you please update for IOS5 compatibility

Stopped working
Great app, fun to use and reasonably accurate....and then came the iPad update! Sadly opening image screen appears and then closes itself after three seconds. Awaiting fix. In the meantime I can't work out how loud my dog barks!sirromdivad
