  • Stopped working

    What’s going on. Working one day, stopped the next. Please fix. Maybe time to abandon Denon and move to Apple Music pod.
  • Stopped working for my 2013 Equipment.

    Besides a few glitches over the years, I’ve been using this app for a long time. Now I find it has stopped working and the new version is for later hardware only. I can’t afford a new amp, and I don’t need a new amp, this one does everything I need it to do including 4K pass-thru so why would I want to change it for another few years !?!?
    PLEASE make either THIS app or the new one work for me.
    Alternatively, please contact me for my address so you can send me something that will work with the new app.

  • Went downhill..!

    When I downloaded this app it worked in every way and was very useful. Now not sure if it was the update or what but none of the functions work. You can open the app and when you try to connect to the receiver via wireless/network it doesn't do anything what waste this update is.. please Denon bring back the older version or put back the functionality!!!!

  • Stopped working: please update app

    This used to work well with an x4000 but has just recently stopped working at all (app appears to crash) with iOS 11.4.1. I’ve generally been impressed with the app and like Denon AVRs, but need to maintain life for older models given that you have very little choice but to update iOS versions.
  • Worked well then stopped working

    I had this installed on my iPhone 7 Plus and it worked flawlessly. A month later, I’m unable to use the app. It will open and then it immediately returns me to the home screen on my phone. When I check to see what apps are still open, it’s there. Clicking on it opens it but then takes me right back to the home screen of my phone. Restarting my phone doesn’t fix the issue and reinstalling the app doesn’t fix the issue. My receiver has the latest update.

    Truly puzzling. It’s a great app but if I can’t use it, it gets 1 star.

  • Better than it was and pretty good overall

    Overall I am pretty satisfied with the remote. It is a little slow and not the most intuitive. That said, the quick access interface is useful and the app itself seems a lot less buggy now (June ‘18) than last summer. I think there was an update. I’d use this free app before buying one as it suits my needs.

  • Great app but needs an update

    This older Denon app is great as it’s simple to use and faster/more intuitive UI than the 2016 AVR version. However it seems to have stopped working recently and really needs an update now.
    Hope one is coming soon
  • Does not work now

    A change to this app means it no longer sees my X4000. It sees my BluRay player and TV but not the Denon AVR.

    Is this iOS problem? No. iPad is older version of iOS and same problem there.

    This app used to work but Denon broke it.
  • Good app, But...

    After an iOS update, it tends to crash!
    I unplug my system for a minute or two then plug it back in, then it works.
    I had to delete the app and reinstall and unplug the system once, but that hasn’t happened for a while.
    On the whole though, it works well.
  • App no longer launches on iPhone 8

    With iOS 11.3 on iPhone 8, app won’t launch at all. I tap it, it begins to open, then goes back to home screen. Have used app for years, quite convenient, worked fine until latest iOS update (so I assume that is the reason). Whatever the case, it would be nice to have this addressed so I can get back to listening w/o lugging out the remote and turning on the tv to navigate the menus. Please fix app so it will launch again (and yes, did power cycle my phone and delete and re-download the app—worked one time and then back to not launching)
