  • Great new look!

I love this app. If you carry an iPad around as I do it is so convenient, especially if you don't always teach in the same classroom. The new upgrade and style is very clean and simple.
I'd like some way to set the grades to the IB system with options for other formats like the Internal Assessments, TOK and Extended Essay, so it would be great if you could do that. Also different year groups have different needs and grade systems. At the moment it's a bit US-centric.
Also, one last niggling thing, in seating layout all the students look the wrong way. I would put the blackboard at the bottom, not the top :)

  • Excellent value

My daughters favourite game, is everyday we play 'school' with her stuffed animals. She is 6, and once I found this it has made things so much more fun for her. We took pictures of all the stuffed animals, imported their pictures in, and now my daughter records attendance, sick days, and even who is playing in the bath tub that day. Being able to put notes for students is great because some days a stuffy is 'bad' and we can now record that. Grading projects is easy and fun too.

I found out about this program from a friend of mine who is a yoga instructor and uses it to record attendance in her classes.

So, for free, I have to give this 5 stars. I can't think of anything I would need this to do….

This is a useful app for teachers. I'm in the UK where the grading part of the app is of limited use at the moment but I have submitted several requests for improvement and all are being implemented in the next release which is imminent. Good support from developer means I'm happy to start using this app with it's limitations knowing that improvements are on the way. Photos are easy to add from your stock photos app if you want to use them. Once you've got some marks in you will start to appreciate how the main class list page reflects student progress and flags up areas of concern. With a bit of forethought the grading system can be used to reflect your students progress in a meaningful way, even in the UK. Watch out for future updates which should make it even better. I would recommend you try it and If it doesn't do what you want then use the built in feedback system to request features and changes. I have found the developer to be quick to respond and keen to improve the app for the UK market.
