  • Simple yet powerful

I’ve been using this for years in my coverband and it’s never let me down. Editing and uploading songs is easy and intuitive. I’ve recently integrated midi controls to automatically change guitar and vocal processing patches as well as page turning with Line6 and Boss products with no issues. AND it’s a one time payment no sub. I’ve looked at others to up my game but this does exactly what I want and need.

  • Teleprompter saves paper good bye notebooks of music

How many banjo pickers does it take to transpose a song with more than three chords? Just one if they have this app! Goes from I IV V to G C D from simple text file format. Internet importer keeps getting smarter. Well done. Money well spent 🎶 Now if we can fix all the lyrics typos online. The latest upgrades make this app even better. scale to fit wireless printing, PDF viewer. Great job!

  • Top Notch Software

I moved from a competitor Song management system to this one because this runs on all platforms that I use and has the features I need.

Works great. I especially love the “Play Together” function.

And the option to send MIDI comments when songs are selected is fabulous. Keeps my pedal patches, looper, and drummer in sync with my songs.

One irritating thing however is MIDI commands are sent to ALL devices on all ports with no option to turn a particular port off.

Most of the time this is not an issue but it affects me because changing songs freezes my AKAI APC40 MK II.

It sure would be nice to be able to turn off sending MIDI commands to some ports while keeping others engaged.

  • Very good. A breath of fresh air!

I looked at several similar programs before buying Songbook ChordPro and I’m glad I did. No advertising, no badgering for credit cards, no subscription, just a solid useful app. It’s not 100% perfect but better than the rest.

Being able to show both guitar and piano chord diagrams was a big attraction. It takes a short while to realise that you have to add your own songs via text or ChordPro formatted files but that turns out to be a plus. A very large number of chord sites have files that are just wrong. You can find a reasonable version somewhere, copy and paste into Songbook and then edit the errors in the app.

  • Garbage

No matter what I try , I cannot import my song list from Chordle, but before purchasing I was led to believe this was compatible. I have almost 1000 songs , reformatting or copy/paste is not an option.
  • Doesn’t work with new iPad

First of all, if you have a newer Mac book, you won’t have ITunes so you can’t import music sheets because it says you have to have ITunes. Second, it doesn’t have the search for songs on the internet like it says. Third, there is no way to contact the developer to see if there are ways around it. Total waist of money. Can’t import and can’t search for songs on the internet

On newer macOS versions you use Finder to copy song files in the app. Please use the Contact link in the app or our web site to get in touch with us - we're always happy to help.
  • Learning currve

The learning curve can get frustrating but if you can get through it… instruction for very beginners is hard to find. Now I recommend it to friends and show them how to use it.

  • Great app - suggestions for improvement

I have been using this app for years. I’m a professional musician, and use this to organize gigs. I especially love how playlists can be shared between devices.

    Suggestions:

    - I would like to have more control over formatting the way songs are printed. On some songs, the words are cut off, or the chord symbols are way too small to see.

    - I wish there was a way to print the list of songs in a playlist.

  • Songbook

What a great program. Easy to use, add and edit songs. All of the members in my local ukulele group uses it.
  • Useful app for musicians

This app is user friendly and a very good tool for any musician. There’s just one thing that I wish I could do with it, it’s to be able to annotate the songs. Sy Lem
