  • Great to have access to my songs on all my platforms

I have used most of the chord chart apps available in the App Store. I have been using Songbook Chordpro for several years and I always seem to gravitate back to it as my first choice. Because it uses the Songbook folder in Dropbox and is set to automatically update when I write something new or add a piece, my songs are the same whether I use it on iPhone, iPad, or my MacBook Pro. What other program can do that and do it so well. I’ll eventually get an Apple Watch and my songs will be available there. I appreciate a developer who takes the time and effort to make their app available everywhere. I no longer use Windows, but I could, and my songs would be available there. I got used to using the simple syntax of Chordpro to write out my songs and I don’t have to worry about my chords showing up over the wrong words like if I wrote them in Word. Those who whine and complain about this being too hard are not really thinking about how Chordpro creates more accurate leadsheets to share with others. And Songbook Chordpro creates great printed leadsheets for those needing a paper copy of my song. All in all, great job guys. I’m very happy to be a customer and look forward to continuing to use the software for my music for years to come.

  • Excellent App

We currently have 12 of 18 musicians in our jamming group using Songbook on iPads. It is so useful and the updates are always more useful ways for this APP.
I have 2981 songs set up from fiddle tune chord charts to lyrics with chords. In a group setting we can quickly change keys as well as airdrop tunes to fellow musicians so they can play along within in seconds. Highly recommended to many friends.

  • Thank You for this amazing App

I have come to rely on this Application to provide me with many aspects of my performance. Access to my song lyrics which are linked to my backing tracks is only the tip of the ice burg. The ability to create “play lists” for each venue, make performance notes in my song files and change the key to any song to match my vocal range translates into value for my money.

Thank you to the developer for an application that is spot on.

  • Really good user experience.

... and easy to share files with entire family, so all are on the ‘same page’ :-)
  • Wow

This is a great app for working players. Once you get the hang of it you will find it very easy to use and work with. It has everything you need for chords and lyrics. I use it for gigs for that purpose. I don’t use charts so I can’t grade that part but for lyrics and chords it’s is awesome. Getting songs from the web could not be easier! I had some stored in Word and converted them via “note pad” on the PC. Others I got from Ultimate Guitar. Just get to the tune and import it in the program. Easy! I highly recommend this app for gigging players. You will love the ease of use .... and the support could not be better.

  • Great app but far too many crashes

App is great but constantly crashes when editing - particularly when editing chords. Please fix! (Using iPad Pro with latest OS)
  • Question

Can somebody explain the reason why from time to time happen the music unlink from the song?
    Even so five stars
  • Great for sync’ing

Here’s what this app does better than your $30 music score app - it syncs flawlessly. If you’ve got a collaborating group sharing a Dropbox folder, it’s great. Deleted songs get deleted - imagine that!

Here’s what it also does better than the $30 competitors - it re-scales and reformats text if you zoom real time. So your about to play a song and need it bigger, pinch and zoom and the lines re-wrap.

It also keeps it simple with the ChordPro markups.

The PDF handing is awful - the only reason why this app needs a companion app or PDF reader.

  • Best app for worship teams

We’ve been using this app for several years. It’s by far the easiest to use for teams who need to sync files over Dropbox. It’s much better than OnSong or SongSheet pro.
  • Crash Factory

This app used to be great, but now unexpectedly crashes in the middle of gigs. No bueno!
