  • Excellent

Well adapted to the use of the practitioners, new features are very useful and the only thing I miss is the most frequently used fax numbers that used to be offered automatically before one has to search the address book. Also, more direct entry into the edges book would be helpful not to mention redaction of the edges book in terms of deletion of our updated numbers,, ability to label some faxes as useless (destinations that are part of the data package in facilities, not real faxes – names and numbers that need rerouting.). Thank you! recommended to numerous people.

  • My review of Doximity

I have to say that Doximity is an amazing resource. The dialing App allows me to contact patients without compromising my personal cell phone. I can also send a voicemail or text without worrying about over aggressive patients calling me repeatedly after capturing my private info. This resource was a Godsend during the Pandemic.
Doximity has also allowed me to reconnect to my colleagues from College, Medical School, Internship, Residency and Fellowship. During our journey as Physicians we encounter so many amazing people, a lot who move away from us. Doximity helped me to reconnect with so many friends I had lost contact with.
In the end, all I can say is, Thank You!

  • Very helpful but could use some programming on the back end

The dialer which allows video conferencing, or telephone calls from your office number is extremely useful! Same with the ability to send directly to voicemail. This is great for a simple messages that I don’t want to have a long discussion about. However, certain things could be fine tuned. I don’t see the reason for you need to ask me each time I cut and paste a phone number if it’s OK to allow access. You could get rid of that! Likewise, for the articles, there are multiple clicks that it takes to get to any single article. You can’t just click on a title and go directly to the article. It’s kind of frustrating. The fax machine, I’m not sure why you have that. Everyone has their own electronic fax or real fax these days. I don’t use it, but if others find it helpful, fine.

    Developer Response

Hi there, thank you so much for your thoughtful review of the Doximity app. We're glad to hear that you find the dialer and voicemail features extremely useful. Regarding the paste issue, please note that Apple does not allow us to suppress this prompt. However, there is a user-friendly setting on your phone that can do the trick. Here's how you can address the paste prompt: 1. Go to Settings. 2. Scroll down to the Doximity app. 3. Select "Paste from Other Apps" and change it to "Allow." If you have any other suggestions or concerns, please feel free to let us know. You can always contact us at support@doximity.com as well. Thank you for your support!
  • Keep your cell phone number hidden from patients

I previously used *67 when calling from my cell phone, but patients would often not answer calls from an anonymous caller. With Doximity Dialer, I can make it look like I am calling from the office or the hospital so they answer promptly. Doximity Dialer is EXTREMELY helpful for contacting patients from my mobile while keeping my personal number hidden.

  • Outstanding app, except…

This app has been wonderful, especially in the days of virtual visits and staff interviews! I also appreciate the medical news, CME, and ability to contact other providers that way.
Here is the only problem, consistent since I 1st used the dialer years ago: The screen is not very responsive to touch once the call has been made. When I call a patient, it takes multiple taps to switch it over to speaker, by which time my patient may have assumed it’s a robo-call. Even worse, when I am done with the call, it takes about 4 taps to hang up. Sometimes I think I have ended the call and then realize the patient is still on the line, which is a set up for the patient to hear something I didn’t want the patient to hear. I worry about inadvertently heading into the bathroom with a patient still on speaker! Please fix!

  • App

Doximity is by far the best app for doctors. You can review, reply, compose and even forward your faxes. No more waisted paper to shred and discard. You can use your smart phone to call anyone, and the phone call will show up as coming from your office phone number. It’s called a dialer. You can also have a HIPA-compliant video call using your smart phone to connect with any patient or with anyone with a US number and a smart phone. There’s not a single day, where I don’t use this app. You can follow your colleagues on a social-media-type format using a smart phone or a computer. BEST OF ALL, EVERYTHING IS FREE. Doximity IS THE BEST APP FOR DOCTORS period

  • Correcting mistakes during Texting

Hello. When I am in an unsent message and trying to correct typos after writing a colleague a text message , the text box takes me back to end of message every time even if I tap the message and get my cursor there in body of message where I want to correct.. After getting cursor to my correction spot, typing any key ( even backspace) , takes me back to end of message. And I have to scroll up to the area I am correcting every time I type every letter or space or back space etc. Ugh . Too tedious.

  • The best app for a healthcare professionals.

What can I say? Are you. All the time and found it to be useful in communicating with my patient, my colleagues and I have a team family from it as well. Ihad difficulties, I’ve been able to communicate with the staff who have helped me. When the pandemic happened they upped their game and made their app even more useful. I kind of view it as a Facebook for medical professionals.

  • Does not consider veterinarians as health professionals

PSA veterinarians are health professionals. We are doctors. We go through same exact medical school and residency training programs as MD/DO doctors. We help protect against disease outbreak (including but not limited to SARS-CoV-2, brucellosis, tuberculosis, the bubonic plague, etc…) we have patients who can’t tell us what’s wrong. We have to rely on the pets owners to tell us what has been “off” with their furry family member. We ARE health care professionals and we were even called on to administer COVID vaccines when staffing was short. So please tell me why Doximity cannot verify DVM (doctor of veterinary medicine) accounts? The response from them was “not likely to verify” veterinarians within the next year. I’m totally stunned this is even an issue.

  • Great App, new update took away phone call log

Still enjoying it. Before the update it kept a log of your phone calls and the time spent, which was very useful for billing level for telephone consults. Now it shows up immediately after the call but if you don’t note it, I have not been able to find the place where it logs the calls like it use to.
