  • Needs a proper search function

The dialer feature is great, use it all the time on call and it has worked flawlessly.

The only complaint I have is that you cannot search or sort articles in the app. It would be incredibly helpful to be able to sort articles by specialty, and to search specific titles or keywords. The search tab seems to be designated only to find colleagues — not to search within the collection of articles curated on the home page.

  • Allows me to call from my office and be anywhere

No longer do I have to worry about calling patients after hours or on the weekend from my house and exposing my privacy. It allows me to easily communicate with patients originating a call from my office number. It makes the patient feel much safer when he sees that number and recognizes it and allows me to have privacy. Game changer!

  • Doximity is great

Been using it consistently for the past month and it has been working very well. It is straightforward, no need for email all you need is a smartphone, works by clicking on a link from a text message to connect by video chat with provider, process can take a few minutes during which time the provider can review patient chart or catch up with messages

  • Great for doctors

Nick and hopeful application for a doctors and has relevant articles and you can specialize as to which field do you want me in salary and new doctors I want of the most underrated features is the dialer where you can use it to call patients and families and mask your cell phone number so it appears I guess coming from the office that is an awesome feature and free not to mention Hyppa compliant and you can use it for a video or phone call or director voicemail

  • It disguises your number...

So it disguises your number, as promised. However, I’ve had patients say their phones say I’m calling from the hardware store, the Virgin Islands (a common location for scammers), and numbers other than the one I’ve entered. This has happened numerous times, so I don’t think it was just a fluke. Other times, patients have said their phone just doesn’t ring during our scheduled appointment. These are patients who faithfully attended appointment in clinic, so I tend to believe them. I guess I shouldn’t expect too much from a free app.

  • Doximity works better than others with cell

I’ve been using other software to do telemedicine and once I tried Doximity it became clear that this software works much better than the others I’ve tried. Very little if no lag, easy for older less computer tech folks to navigate and connect. I use it every day at least 25 times with little to no problems. It is dependable, easy, and the patients love it as I do.

  • The app I begged for since 2018

This truly is a game-changer for me. I do more than half my work for one of my two jobs from my cell. My office manager always instructed people that I would be calling from a blocked number, and therefore to remove features preventing blocked calls from going through. It was still a problem on a regular basis because people didn't know how to do that, which led to much wasted time and delays. The video calling feature was just a little confusing because I didn't know what to expect, and I should have tested it first as I did with the audio. The instructions that pop up, particularly those saying it's ok to hang up, enabled me to get it working on the first try anyway.

  • Incremental improvements

Well done Doximity. In the relative short time that I have had to use the app for video visits, including practice attempts with fellow colleagues, this looks to be one of the simplest ways to reach patients. The video function is crisp, although I’m sure that has something to do with one’s Internet service and or cell service. In any case it is easy to use and also easy to invite others into the call

  • Video Phone Connection

Although I appreciate the option I’ve been able to contact clients without revealing my cell number… I sure wish the video capabilities were a little better. About 15 to 20% of the time went on a video call, within 10 or 15 minutes we have to change over to telephone only because of poor connection. If that is only about my clients cell phone coverage, I can understand. That is why I’m giving a four instead of three.

  • Best App ever

I have for years wanted the ability to call patients back when on-call without exposing my personal cell number. In fact, I used to change numbers every couple of years for this reason. Many patients’ phones block calls from blocked numbers. This app allows me to call and the Caller ID shows up as my office number. We also now use this for HIPAA compliant virtual visits with patients and they don’t even have to download an app. They just get a text with link to tap and we are connected. Just love this app.
