Use an alternative card company

To have my Christmas cards arrive late or not at all is unfortunate. For it to happen two years in a row is unacceptable. I ordered cards on the “2-4 day” delivery option 12 days before Christmas and 15 days later, still got delivered. Considering cards are usually for a particular date, timely delivery is crucial and this company how now repeatedly failed, so why would I ever use them again? I would suggest others don’t either.

Hands across the water

I live in the USA. All my family and a lot of my friends live in the UK and other friends live in other European countries. Mailing paper Christmas cards is complicated ( due to different “last” dates the US postal service has for different countries ), expensive and time consuming.
Sitting down with the Moonpig App in the comfort of my own home, makes the whole process so much easier! 👍

Thank you.

Excellent place for me to shop from where I am and really appreciate the value and quality that has been sent to my family over the years and the choices are growing each year so thank you.

The flowers and plants have been received with admiration which is a huge relief so I would highly recommend Moonpig especially as I’m very worried ordering online and I do limit myself to where I shop from so again thank you I know I’m safe.

Convenient

Convenient to send cards to people who you aren’t going to see in person. I like being able to personalise them with photos. Fairly expensive but you pay for the convenience. The thing that annoys me is that I pay in AUD but get charged a foreign fee on my credit card. I’d prefer to have the option to pay in £ at checkout to avoid that fee.

Card

Can’t change a card once ordered. My invoice said 2 cards, I only completed one. Why would I need the same card twice?

Terrible app

I’ve had a few cards now that say it’ll be delivered next day then takes a week to arrive. Absolute nonsense, it’d be easier to just buy a card and post it same day and it’d get there quicker. Feel like it completely defeats the point of using this app when it’s easier to do it yourself and at least you’ll know when it gets there. On top of that there’s also no delivery notification on the app to show it’s actually been delivered. Family I can’t get in contact with to ask if they’ve received it, I’ll never know if they actually have just what Moonpig have said. I had a card that didn’t arrive as I had contacted a family member to ask, they said it didn’t arrive so I got in contact with Moonpig and they weren’t even going to give me the money back in my bank, they just chose to give me more credit on Moonpig to spend on another card. I had to push to get it sent back to my bank. I don’t understand how they think anyone would want to trust them and order a new card with them after what’s happened. Not using this app again will move to funkypigeon instead.

Stick with the website

I hadn’t used Moonpig before but it was the only place I could find that offered the photo card type & size I was looking for. I used the app because there was a promo of 30% off 1st order thru app. That was the only reason I persevered with it. I had already mocked up a tester on the website to make sure I was happy with the design. So I went to the app to recreate it but it appears to be a substandard version of the website. On the web you can upload images from camera, photo app or files. On the app no option is available for file uploads. Also on the app I could find no option for page layouts. I could not make the inner left page a blank nor could I change the inner right page from a triple text layout to a single text. So I ended up going back to the web, creating everything there & saving to the basket. Then I logged back in the app to complete the purchase purely to get the discount. I see no other reason to use the app if offers less options than the website.

User and recipient

I’m reviewing as someone who uses moonpig and also someone who has received in the last week.
I love the individuality and personalisation that moonpig offers. Always pleased with this.

This week however I received a lovely card from a friend with an add on of a sweet ‘selection’ I have to say I was disappointed on my friends behalf. I know how much these things cost - and to say it’s a selection of sweets is a bit much. If you love marshmallows - great. If you’re hoping for more of the sweets strategically placed on the outside of the clear vessel - so it looks like you have some more of an assortment - then you’ll be disappointed as we were. A load of marshmallows (which are cheap to buy tbh) and a handful or less of shrimps, flumps and not anything else. Don’t waste your money on this add on. Buy a pick and mix or make one yourself - far better! If you’re sending and can’t make up yourself - choose an alternative add on gift in our opinion. (But we were so grateful for the gesture from a friend!)

Great service! Fast shipping & Delivery!

I googled for customized cards and found this website. I’ve ordered twice in two months and everytime my cards have been delivered with the quickness! The quality is so good! I love this site and will continue to do business with them!!!!

Really bad service

I been receiving notifications about my anniversary and I placed an order for a card on 16th and got the notification that it will be delivered by 19th and my anniversary was on 19th so I thought I’ll receive it on the day at least! Charged £5 for a card and delivery £1.25 for first class Royal Mail and even waited for the card all day long it never been delivered and I had to go to local shop to get a simple card to give it to my husband! And next day I contacted Moonpig on chat service I explained the situation and what I get the answer that’s unbelievable! The lady said wait till today if it doesn’t get delivered by today then contact back tomorrow! I even said even it does deliver today what use it is for me! Anniversary is already gone! So I get the card and put in the bin ! On the top it’s my 10th anniversary it’s mentioned on the card and can’t keep till next year ! And she hung up the chat saying she can’t help anymore! Which is really rude and disrespectful ! And this was happened to me before when I ordered my husband’s 40th birthday cards! Again they blame the delivery services!
