Works great for the price
I am a birder and take a lot of very wobbly videos through my binoculars. This app helps a lot to stabilize the image. It can only do so much- the image will still be shaky, but much less than many other apps I have tried. The pro version is very affordable which I really appreciate. PowerDirector has better stabilization with a lot more editing features directly in the app but is also much more expensive. My absolute only constructive feedback on the UX side of things is with the export process. I really wish there was some feedback provided after you save a video- like a checkmark or “video saved” pop up because you don’t know if it actually saved until you go to your camera roll. This is very nit-picky after having studied UX design but truly the app overall is great and I love how customizable the features are. I also agree with another reviewer that a hand-grab tool would be great - it zooms in to stabilize, I wish you could adjust where it zooms in to prevent the image cutting off in the wrong spot. Also if you aren’t a video nerd I highly recommend going to settings on the main screen, then online help, then scroll down- it has a really great breakdown of what each feature isShow lessBitcats
PLEASE add a hand/drag tool so i can center my video where I want
This app is exactly what i was looking for! A quick tool that will fix videos taken with my very shakey hands.
HOWEVER, when the stabilizer zooms in to account for stabilization, I wish i could then move where I want the center of my video to be. It only zooms on the very center so it cuts off the subject if the subject is in the corner.
PLEASE add a hand tool or a drag tool so I can pan the video to center where I want. Thanks!Show lesshwenglo
Never works
I'm a 25 year experienced video editor. I just wanted an app to use for video stabilization when it's not important, as in, not a professional video. I've adapted all of the settings and it doesn't appear to be any use. Imagine how bad an app like this has to be if it can't even stabilize a video of the sunset on the ocean. There's a clear horizon and a central point of focus (the sun) and it still doesn't know how to create a truly stable video. My hands were very steady, so the original video is mostly steady, but I wanted tripod-level steady without having to move the video onto my desktop to use real editing software. This should've been the easiest edit ever, but considering this app has always been lacking in ability, I shouldn't be surprised that it couldn't do something as simple as this.Show lessktgilead
Fixed vibration issue when others wouldn’t Awesome program Saved so many videos
I tried stabilization setting I could find with FCP and my nature video still had too much vibration. This program, on the other hand, did an amazing job of removing the vibration. I usually have a tripod but this time, I didn’t and that’s why it was so shaky. So, this software saved my video. Great job whoever made it.Show lessthatguy9637
Didn’t work
Downloaded it for a video of flowers that was a bit shaky. On the app the stabilized side seems to be smoother. But once download it’s the exact same video with no difference. Also don’t understand why the more “stabilized” the video is, the more zoomed in it is?? Why can’t the original video be stabilized? Strange.Show lessEmma Probasco
Powerful tool with notable weak points
I wanted to use this app to stabilize my concert videos. From playing around with it, I can tell under different circumstances this app would be amazing, but I think it struggles to find a steady reference point due to the flashing stage lights in the videos I want to stabilize. This is frustrating for a couple reasons:
1. When the lighting is consistent, to tool works beautifully; HOWEVER, there is no point in using it at all if even a 0.5 second chunk of the video gets thrashed around due to flashing lights. You can’t turn the stabilizer on/off at certain timestamps, and there’s no functionality to splice together videos, so it’s really an all-or-nothing issue, and I haven’t found a single video that actually needs stabilizing where it hasn’t had even a moment of that jittery thrashing.
2. There is no manual functionality. I thought the compass button may allow tweaks to individual frames in the case of these jittery moments, but from what I can see it just tells you what the automated stabilizing changed about the frame. I recognize that manually stabilizing would be much more time-consuming and difficult, but having the option—especially for videos where only a couple seconds of tweaking would be necessary—would greatly improve the usability of this app.
I think this app is great and definitely has its uses, but for myself, these issues make it nearly useless.Show lesskowaiSUPREME

Great app for phones
I am a plane spotter and make plane spotting videos. This app does a great job at stabilizing my shaky videos and makes them perfectly smooth. I highly recommend getting this app if you are looking for an app that stabilizes videos. I think this app will probably only work best with phones but it does a great job!Show lessJustin Wittkamp
