How disappointing!
I loved this game when it first came out on PC... so when I saw I could get the iPad version I didn't hesitate! Unfortunately to progress and finish the game you need "plant bucks" which you must purchase? Sure you can make the magic plants but if you are unable to acquire the plant bucks you need to upgrade or buy resources for your nursery or equipment it eventually gets boring! Please include an option to exchange coin for plant bucks??Show lessGincharoony
Deleting
I loved this game on the pc. Was delighted to find it for the iPhone. But like the other reviewers say, you DO get to a certain point, then to progress you absolutely have to buy plant bucks. My plants keep dying before they are mature. To solve this I would need the golden soil, which is plant bucks. I'll never be able to complete this since I refuse to pay real money just to get anywhere, and paying real money is literally the only option to get plant bucks.
Like everyone else I would much rather have paid a flat sum for the game in its entirety, rather than be forced to pay for something that doesn't even last if and when you start over. Deleting from my phone now since I have hit the pay wall. Real shame guys. You should really read these reviews and listen to what your customers want, then you might actually make some money.Show lessBulbie7
Disappointed
Played PC version, which I paid for the game. Loved it! They are trying to be like other in app purchase games and I don't support that business model. Just sell the games at a reasonable price or charge a small subscription fee like better supported games. Don't fall for in app purchases, it's a huge rip off, for virtually nothing. Wish I could trade coins for bucks
I would like to be able to trade coins for boxes that I'm having to use real life cash to get the box or at least by the second seed box for coins instead.
Also, some way to keep track of what breeds of plants that you've created would great as well.. As well as if you created one plant you should be able to plant that again always without having to buy or save seeds. Saving seeds should be for when you are cross-breeding or mutating.Show lessUnkept78
Slow paced
This game is very slow paced even on it's fastest setting and once you get into the game, it becomes obvious there is no way to advance without paying real world money. A waste of time even to get started.LucyEllery

You have to use real money to purchase in game currency called "plant bucks If you make a mistake like letting all your plants die, you have to restart the game and the things you paid to unlock are locked again. Great concept, poor execution. Yet another free game that secretly wants hundreds of pounds from you. Plus the graphics/game play is pretty rudimentary. I just like plants. They are my friends. They talk to me.
I would have liked to carry on playing this game but you can't continue to play without paying, and quite frankly my organs aren't worth that much since I could legally drink. Plus I'm using them right now.
So yea, I removed the game and kept my organs.

Every good thing has Drawbacks
This game is amazing. I love everything about it, except for one thing. I bought all three of the seed cases, but I still have no room! I've tried deleting the seeds, but my rule is to have only 2 of the same kind. So because I have no room as stupid as I am I keep breeding the plants and getting more and more seeds so right now all of my plants are dead with seeds and it's just making me so mad.
Please if there is somebody reading this please listen.
You should have at least 10 seed cases. Please.
