This news paper is partisan
You guys are for the worst candidate in us history {Outside of trump}. Every time I look at your site you guys seems to say that walker is a serious candidate for senator. The way you guys talk about walker is crazy. I don’t know who is writing these articles should tell the truth. Herschel Walker is out of his league. Also your paper still have him leading by 2 points, which is a lie. Your guys on the campaign trail should ask the hard questions to this guy. But, forgive me, I completely forgot, I Am in Georgia, please get it right. This guy is a joke, and is this what Georgia want.

Unstable interface makes for difficult reading
On the iOS version of this app, I can’t scroll through the day’s stories without constantly being “bounced” back up to some ad (today it’s something about a dog, idk). I want to support local news but come on, this seems like a very basic design problem.
Use the mobile website
I’m a subscriber but ads continue on the app that cause you to jump to different places when scrolling through news. Very annoying. I now just use the mobile website.
Very frustrating to use
This app is very frustrating to use because the content keeps shifting up and down as the ads change. This requires me to keep scrolling past articles that I already scrolled past multiple times. Makes it almost unusable at times.
Also, about 30% of the time the app will open with a third of the screen blacked out requiring me to force close the app and reopen.

Little unbiased reporting or viewpoint. Predictable
Very left of center NP and predictable in its presentation of the facts. My wife enjoys the variety section otherwise I’d never have a subscription. A lot of AP articles and little local reporting that deviates from the liberal agenda or racial discourse. You would also think a business oriented city as Atlanta would have a supportive mouthpiece that is forward and inclusive. No dice.

Abundant free content
Great for filling Atlanta sports IMHO. The amount of free material related to local teams is impressive compared to the AJC website. I can’t speak as much to any other areas.
Could use a refresh
It is hard to get to top local stories and the app refreshes so often you cannot scroll past the first couple stories before you are reset back to the top of the page.
App Broken
Like others have said, it’s impossible to scroll down on the main feed to read more stories because the app will automatically jump back to the top of the page every 5-6 seconds. It makes it impossible to use and I’ve stopped reading the AJC as a result. Since there’s no search function there’s no other way to find articles.
It is also impossible to access the sports section in the app, because none of the choices in the top menu bar are for sports. That is really annoying because AJC publishes a ton of good articles about the Braves and I’m unable to even access them through the app.
Articles in the app are also limited to those published in the last few days. If I miss a notification about an article I want to read and click on it several days later, it will tell me the article is no longer available. You’d find the same thing if you were able to successfully scroll down all the way to the bottom of each news category. I’ve never seen this happen for any other news app, or at least not with such a limited time frame of articles included.
Finally, most apps now have a dark mode, but this one doesn’t. That feature would be greatly appreciated.
I know there is also the ePaper app and I have also used that in the past, but that app is also filled with its own problems (some of which are the same) and isn’t really a replacement on iPhones, particularly my iPhone 13 mini.

App has become unusable
You cannot scroll through news stories. As others have stated the screen flashes and takes you all the way back to the top. This glitch has NOT been fixed after several updates. I’m now using other app for local news. This problem exist on both the iPad and iPhone.
Maddening Auto Refreshing
Maddening auto refreshing to the News Feed makes this app virtually unusable. Every time I browse the “All News” feed, as I scroll down the list of articles, the feed refreshes itself every 15 seconds or so, returning the feed to articles I have already scrolled past, causing me to lose my place in the feed. So, I have to scroll, scroll, scroll down after the refresh to get back to where I was before the automatic refresh. And, yes, I have Background Refresh turned off in Sertings…
