Much needed app for iPad and synology users!
This app and its related cousins provide functionality that is invaluable for iPad users. Being able to move, delete, rename, email, preview and download all my NAS stored files means my PC is one step closer to its grave. I love being able to manage my files easily and effectively from the iPad.bjr67
Slight hiccup, but still love synology
I too thought the program was unusable, but have been opening it in portrait as suggested and it works fine. Sure this isn't a great situation, but for all those complaining, be thankful synology update there apps and provide them for free.
There are other options for getting to your files if this program isn't working for you. Setup an FTP, use samba, web dav, DLNA or upnp. There are multiple apps for each of these options. You may even find one that suits your needs better.Show lessThurstan
Awesome App
I absolutely love this app, it allows me to watch videos stored on my NAS. My only complaint would be the lack of instructions regarding how to set it up. I had to fiddle around with my NAS config a bit before I could get this app to work. Once working it has been flawless thus far.Cactus Jack Attack

Very useful even tho I wish more file formats were supported. Synology have done a great job on all their iOS companion apps. I love my diskstation!RunsWithFork

Great app, as apart of a suite of great apps that makes Synology NAS stand out from the pack.
Could I make one request:
1: add the function of being able to pause/resume download tasks. I can do this with an app called Filer and would prefer to use the Synology app to do this.aidhctdbwja
