Excellent guide for exploring
We have used GPSmyCity a lot during our recent 5 week trip around Europe. Many places are too small to offer live guided tours and that is when this app is really useful. I highly recommend for anyone who is travelling.

Best app ever

Helpful and informative
We used the app in Vienna, Munich and Cologne during the summer. It was most helpful and informative about these cities. We found things we could otherwise have missed. We found the maps useful too. For what we do on holiday this is a great companion. We look for landmarks, parks, architecture and the app offers us all those things.

A must app for every traveler
This is a brilliant app, I have used it at least in 10 different cities while traveling around the United States. When you have the time and the weather permits, what better than to do your own walking tour of the town at your own pace, around the city and listening to the details of what makes the town especial.
Great idea how they categorized the tours by monuments, churches, architecture, including some of the famous places related to food or bars.
I had the opportunity to also look at the article of the city I was born, Vigo. Spain. Their suggestions on the important and beautiful places were exactly where I will take my friends when visiting.
So now when friends go there to vacation I will be able to recommend GPS my city and feel confident they will hit all the spots!
I really enjoy the features of the app about the listening option, the different tours depending on your preference and the directions to take you from point A to B. Highly recommended.

Useful for short city breaks
We downloaded the app for use during a cruise, with multiple short stops at various cities. We found it informative and accurate. The walking tours are a great way of exploring the ‘must see’ parts of a city with a short timescale, without the expense of using organised excursions or tourist buses. Will definitely continue to use in future. Also very useful for UK cities if exploring closer to home.

Excellent Self Guided Walks
We have used the app to explore cities in Scandinavia and South America and found it informative and easy to navigate around. It has a choice of walks but you can also create your own. The offline navigation works well, even when you take detours. You go at you own pace and choose what sites you want to spend time exploring. It was excellent value for money.

Really great travel app for self-guided tours
Love this app! You can use it all across the world. I used it in Paris and London last month, and am planning a trip to Ft. Worth soon. This app is very robust in its offerings. Not only are there many different self guided tours to take, but there are also tours about specific subject of interest like Sherlock Holmes, Jack the Ripper etc. There are also articles written by travel blogs which add color and variety. There are directions to all points on the tours, and even the articles. At each stop along the way, you get brief but robust explanations about each point of interest. If you travel a lot like me,
This app is a must. I am in the travel industry and I wish I would have found it sooner. To have all this at your fingertips, and the ability to use it offline. Just Wow! Get this app. You will love it.

Great Travel App
My wife and I use GPSmyCity when we first get to a new travel destination so we are aware of some of the “don’t miss” sights while visiting. Sometimes we will follow one of the walks suggested and other times we will just pick and choose the sights of interest.
There is often, if not always, something identified in the app that we wouldn’t have otherwise known about and thus missed.
It is awesome that you can download the walks at your accommodation cover wifi and then use the app offline while walking about.
This is a great addition to anyone’s travel app collection. I highly recommend it.
