Dirty tricks to have user click on unprotected links
Very bad and persistent pop ups and advertising requiring clicking to close off. Only programmer knows what it downloads when cloaking such popups

I really like this app - something different
A really good app for travellers It is something a bit different and very pleasant When you go somewhere it has curated articles about that city and then for some places various different walking routes. I have used it for holidays (LA, Romania, Spain) where it is obviously nice - makes being a tourist that much nicer But I also use it on business trips: those free hours when you get into a city and want to do something it is really nice to have a guide like this Highly recommended

An essential companion on our travels
We have used this app in a number of cities around the world. It is reliable and full of interesting data about art, architecture, history, shopping and the local customs. It is not dependant on Data or wifi whilst on the walks. Allowing the user to add their own location, be it hotel or transit stop is also immensely helpful.

Makes any trip better !
I have been using this since it started. Really great I have used it all over the world and for a quick orientation walk or an in depth explore this is a really good resource. The articles are often very interesting the only down side is of course hotel and restaurant recommendations can be out of date. I spent a while trying to find an ice cream parlour in Manchester that is now a tattoo parlour !

Needs editing
There is no excuse for the clunky writing and abundant typos (e.g. “it’s” for “its”) in this app, now that AI is available. Developer: type “Edit this: [your content]” into ChatGPT, and you’ll massively improve the user experience.

Great Travel App
Used in a recent trip to Bucharest. Saved masses of time identifying key sights to visit and with the photo and information accompanying the sight I found it useful for cutting down on wasted walking time when you are in a city for a few days. I found it useful for locating my position in a strange city and designing my own tour . Very comprehensive list of cities and towns so will enjoy using for forthcoming trips. Excellent app when exploring the world.

If you enjoy city walks then this App is for you
As the title of this review states, if you like exploring cities all across the world then this App is for you. It covers over 1600 cities globally. I downloaded the App as we were taking a trip to Dublin (which we had not been to before). There were 11 different walks to choose from for Dublin and several travel articles also for Dublin !! We downloaded the walk we wanted and it gave us a map of the walk, the stopping points for each “highlight”, an explanation to the highlight and it gave us our location making it really simple to use. Yes you have to pay for an annual subscription, but if you download any other “internet” based walks from other providers these are typically charged for by each walk. This App pays for itself after just two walks from my perspective making it very good value for such a quality app. You can try it for free. If it’s not for you then you can cancel the subscription. In our case, since we have a trip to Singapore and Vietnam next year I have paid the subscription and already downloaded the walks and travel guides so that I can plan the trip in more detail in advance of going. All in all an excellent App (and I don’t normally rate Apps !!) and one I would thoroughly recommend - you have nothing to lose but a lot to gain IMHO ! Enjoy your travels.

City Walking Made Fun
I traveled like a local on my recent trip to Austin and Memphis. Both cities are in GPSmyCity app and the app was my only source for the information. Other cities we visited I had to research many internet sites to come up with similar plans. Even though we have visited Memphis several times we found several additional sites to visit and enjoy. I found this app to be very useful and easy to use to find and complete preplanned tours of major cities and have several future trips in the planning where I will use it instead of creating custom routes. Highly recommend to get the best of unfamiliar cities.
