Inconsistent
Have had Xfinity Home Security and a handful of Xfinity cameras and doorbell for a couple of years now. The alerts have changed a couple times, there’s less options for customizability now than there was two years ago. In addition to this, I have never been able to arm/disarm my home security system with the Face ID (iPhone 14 Pro Max), meanwhile my wife is able to on her iPhone 11. Sometimes the app doesn’t load at all (does not appear to be service related as I can do anything else on my phone) and I have to manually arm the alarm. Not a huge deal breaker but if you leave the house and want to arm it from your car, or are in bed, not being able to arm/disarm from your phone is irritating. If it is service related, well then it’s Xfinity’s fault anyway since I have Xfinity internet and Xfinity Mobile… Have overall been happy with it, but it’s been very hit and miss, and the regression on features and lack of camera upgrades over the years are a bummer. It’s like Xfinity home is stuck in 2020. A lot of new and better options are on the market now.
