  • Needs some work

Not a bad game, never played the original, but I played some original Doom, which I enjoy but don’t want to pay for, but the global positioning is not a favorite of mine, so, logically, turned it to swipe which decided to be annoying, couldn’t get through the first level, couldn’t even open a door, first time I tried, the area would mess with the looking around, you could only turn left, but it seems very well made, perhaps it was just that I was using a phone, genuinely disappointed it didn’t work

  • If you like Halo you’ll love Marathon!

I’m playing it on a 9th Gen iPad 10.2” with iOS 16 & it plays flawlessly. Graphics are updated & multiplayer is a (frog)blast. Interesting and in-depth story for those who enjoy that but paying attention is not necessary if all you want to do is shoot and punch everything that moves. If you like Halo you’ll love Marathon and this version is well supported. If you can afford to you should donate to the developers as they are fans of the original games who have legal permission from Bungie to release this for free but cannot profit from it.
I highly recommend using a bluetooth gamepad, controller, or mouse for the best experience.

  • Great game.

Everywhere I go, I see sevens. Send help.

    10/10 game, would recommend.
  • Super underrated

Love 2.5 d games this one is pretty sweet and has a good story from what I’ve heard the first night be hard to get through so maybe a guide would help
  • Good but need some tweaks

Love a real FPS for iPhone, there are so few. To make the movement perfect head bob needs to be turned off, and the ability to touch the fire button and drag so you can change your aim while firing. Very close! Thanks!
  • Goddang bungie

I’ve always been a fan of halo and destiny but marathon is just amazing the guns and the story are awesome
  • Fun but bad Touch controls

This game doesn’t even let you jump and you spent time looking in the dark finding doors also plz add fixed thumb stick no one likes floaty thumb stick. They ruin the gameplay. also let us add option how many button to use. I rather use one for primary fire. aiming need adjustment it’s slow and move fast at same time

  • Controls need to be fixed

Marathon is a really good game but the controls let down. Turning around is used by right finger and by moving the device, making it impossible for people who are playing on moving objects. Add the way they use the primary fire and secondary fire, you start to notice when getting the assault rifle. The buttons are wide and your finger will slip to the secondary wasting precious ammo. Also it would of been nice to been told what med-kits were, I spent 5 levels not knowing what they were. Part from that it’s a good game.

  • So Nostalgic I Could Cry

This is an absolutely wonderful, amazing faithful remaster of the original game. Most people don’t know that this is Bungie’s precursor to Halo, and I rarely get to play it. The fact I can also go BACK to the original graphics is such an underrated thing.

You play as personnel on a ship called the Marathon recalling almost nothing. Your ship is under attack. Only one voice reaches out to communicate with you, and right now that voice is helping you stay alive.

Unravel the events leading up to the attack on the Marathon, and learn more about the factions that attacked you. Fend off the invasion and save.. anyone you can.

  • Classic

This one brings me back, I burned many hours playing this on my Power Mac. A classic video game from the golden age of gaming before Wall Street took over.
